1️⃣During testing, do not remove any protective films or labels.
2️⃣Pay attention to static electricity issues. Ground yourself using an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) wrist strap to prevent damage from static electricity.
⚠3️⃣After removing the old screen, the first step is to remove the flexible cable clamp between the battery and the device motherboard.
Disconnect the power supply connecting the screen flex cable.
After connecting the flex cable of the new screen, the final step is to install the flexible cable clamp of the battery.
It is important not to reverse this sequence.
4️⃣Then, connect the charging cable, turn on the phone power, and check if the screen is working properly.

The screen works but is the wrong screen. It's slightly too big, I think I got the one for the 5g a51 model. hooked it up and it works but it's missing a slot for one of the parts. It is also missing the new frame that was supposed to come with it making it a bit more difficult to do the replacement. Since the screen didn't fit the frame, they phone is currently hooked together but in 3 pieces (screen, frame, backplate). I cannot take the phone anywhere with me, it's hooked together and functioning but cannot move it around. Ended up just buying a new phone and will be transferring data from my current phone. I gave 2 stars because the screen does still function fine, just doesn't fit (thought it could be a snug fit but it just cracked my frame by the end of it) and was missing a part as well

My examination which confirms a solid LCD(not AmoLED) w/a simple tool set for anyone to knock it out. I went ahead & installed it myself; an old cracked phone doesn't scare me away from a tedious job & not willing to pay a "professional" $100 for it. Turns on & displays great, looked up YouTube videos for how to's, it's actually quite simple & I was nervous @ first but now my phone works once more!👌 "Area 51(A51) Prototype status, see pic😉"

This replacement touch screen for my older phone works really well once installed. This replacement screen came with all of the tools necessary to remove my old cracked screen, clean my phone, and install the replacement screen so my phone looks brand new. The screen works just as well as the original and the touch screen is very responsive to my fingers.
