I bought this canvas drop cloth sheet thinking it would be great for working with clay, but the material is thinner than I anticipated. While it’s still decent for light tasks, it doesn't feel as durable or sturdy as I hoped for a project like this. The texture is okay, but I think it might not hold up as well under heavy use. That said, it's fine for other general purposes, it's a good size and I'm glad I can toss it in the wash.

As a light drop cloth, this is fine. It's a wide weave, so it's not going to protect much from paint, but it's about right for clay. Expect that it's mostly polyester, so not absorbent... As a back-up extra cloth for our craft and project areas, it's ok, but I find the quality lacking.

Not sure this is ideal as a "tablecloth" but to down and protect the table from paints and crafts it would be good. Nice large size. Similar to the ones at the big home improvement stores. Will be using to paint my walls in the near future.

My daughter likes to do a variety of crafts, including ceramics and painting. I thought this drop cloth might be useful for both scenarios so I went ahead and requested it.The sheet I received was a little larger than the dimensions listed (59 x 41.5” instead of the listed 59 x 39”), which was a nice surprise since one can always use a little more space. It looks really nice, with well-done hems on all four edges and the company name embroidered along one center edge.Unfortunately the fabric is not as thick as I had thought it would be for a drop cloth. It’s not very tightly woven, to the point that there are visible gaps in the weave. I haven’t had the chance to try it with paints yet but I tried setting it down and putting some water on it, and while some of the water beaded nicely on top, a good amount went right through to the counter underneath immediately. This doesn’t match up with my expectations for how a drop cloth should perform, especially when the description says it can be useful for painting. It seems like it would work well enough for a ceramics wedging board and I like the hemming, but since I’d been expecting to use it to protect surfaces while painting, it is a bit of a disappointment. It may still help as a barrier but I would feel obligated to have some newspaper or something underneath to absorb the spills that seep through.

The canvas tablecloth fits my 2'x4' hobby table well. I feel like I no longer have to worry about the table top. Wish I had gotten this earlier because cleanup is now faster than ever.

This is so much thinner than I expected. The listing says it can be used for, “Painting, Ceramics, Wedging/Rolling Potters Clay with Tools…” so I intended to use this for crafts that involve paint and glue. It might be the right weight for ceramics or pottery — I wouldn’t know as I don’t work with either of those. But it feels too thin to me. I had expected it to be the weight of that heavy canvas used for painting dropcloths — it’s not.

I got this specifically for my pottery table because the listing made a point to specifically mention using it for pottery. I thought maybe it would be special in some way, maybe help my clay dry quicker or something since the lady in the video covers her clay creation in the cloth. But no. It's just a $9 piece of cloth. And I wouldn't call it thick or heavy duty. It's literally just a table cloth. Is there something I'm missing?

Very nice quality. The manufacturer's name is even embroidered on it. I take clay classes, so I know it would work great for that. My purpose is for under acrylic paint projects. Don't think it is thick enough to really protect the floor from spilled paint. I may keep this aside for when I make pasta.
