It goes to sleep and you need to wait a few seconds for it to wake up. It is a nice quality and has been reliable.

Even when connected, it will lag and need to sort of “reconnect” each time you try to type a number after a few minutes. After a few hours of using, when I pressed a number once and did not hold the key down, it repeated the number 20+ times and I just had to wait for it to stop typing. Unfortunately, I cannot return because I tossed the box, but don’t waste your money.

I ordered this product December 17th and received it December 18th. So I basically ordered it for my iPad 10th gen and I am very impressed. The functionality of it is great. I did not have any problems whatsoever connecting it to the Bluetooth. I also do not have any problems with it disconnecting from Bluetooth while in use. Now the design for me I’m still getting used to it just because the buttons are round so before I started using my iPad as a laptop form I was actually on a desktop so the keyboards from the desktop were obviously squared so basically the + was basically a larger button before. on this little keypad the button is round and small and that is taking some time to get used to. Other than that, the design is good its easy to use and there’s no lagging for the numbers to appear onto the iPad.

Easy to connect, easy to use but the keys have a little too much rattle for my preference which makes inputting a lot of data a little more annoying.

PROS:- USB-C rechargeable- Slim & lightweightCONS:- Pairs to only one deviceThis is a rather simple and straightforward device. It works the same as the numeric keypad on a keyboard, making it a great companion to laptops and tenkeyless keyboards. With numlock on, it functions as a numeric keypad, and with numlock off, one has access to navigation keys (as well as insert and delete keys).There is no multi-device pairing supported here, so if one wants to use it with multiple devices, they would need to re-pair it each time.For recharging, it uses USB-C and the port is conveniently located on the side. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included, but as with most devices these day, no charger is included.Pairing was simple, and proceeded exactly as per the instructions. Of note, however, on my Mac Mini it showed up only as the rather generic "Bluetooth keyboard" during the pairing process. It was, however, listed as "“iClever IC-KP08 Keypad” after pairing was completed.There are a few things the manual states that are incorrect (with the product actually providing better functionality):1. Page 1 states, "NOTE: Not fully compatible with Windows 7 PC/laptop, Bluetooth adapter, Mac Mini, Samsung Smart TV, and Nokia phones. Yet, all keys worked as expected with my Mac Mini (and a Mac Mini should be no different than any other Mac).2. Page 2 of the manual states, "“Note: the number lock function works for Windows and Android only”. The "Num Lock" key worked fine on my M1 Mac Mini.3. On page 4 in regard to the Calculator key, the manual states, "NOTE: Works for Windows only". This key brought up the calculator app on my Mac Mini.The package includes blank stickers for the keys, but no mention is made in the manual for any key reassignment or macro software. For my Mac, I will be using the free program Karabiner-Elements for that (which I already use with my regular keyboard), which supports different settings for different keyboards.

This number pad is truly amazing! I find it even more useful than the standard numpad that comes on full-sized keyboards! It feels great to type on, has great battery life, and keys not normally present on a numpad! It also has very grippy feet that allow it to not slide around even when hammering numbers into it like it were a typewriter!To start with, the keys have a very nice "snap" to them; they're easy to press, yet have enough resistance that you need to intentionally press them in order to actuate them (they won't simply "fall" by resting your fingers on them). They are also properly sized that they are easy to hit without looking at all! The only oddity here is that the "+" key is the same size as all of the number keys, instead of the typical size you would find on a numpad. While this does take a little getting used to, it's not a problem at all in my opinion.As for battery life, it has lasted quite a few days off of its initial charge without any indication that the battery is getting low. Admittedly, I haven't really stressed it like a "number cruncher" might, but it has held up nicely to some light gaming that requires a numpad.The range is pretty good for a no-frills bluetooth device. Using the bluetooth built into my laptop, I can get about 20-30 ft away before the connection drops out, so it is perfectly capable of maintaining a connection at any reasonable place you would be using your normal keyboard from too.Finally, the added keys... This is what really sold me on it! It has all of the expected keys for a numpad, but adds on the following: Escape, Calculator, Tab, Equals, and Backspace. I don't personally care much about the calculator key, but I suppose it will come in handy at times. However, all of the other additions are truly life-changing! I'm sure anyone who is considering getting a numpad like this has used one enough to know how annoying it can be to have to hit equals, backspace, tab, or escape across the keyboard while entering numbers in, especially in a spreadsheet. Having them all within reach with one hand while you're entering in data is an absolute blessing!Everything about this numpad is just spectacular, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to add one to their laptop bag, or desk setup!

Pairs easily with my computer via Bluetooth. Also use it with my legion go. Buttons are nice clicky with nice coverall build. Charge last a long time.
