Good compromise as to price/convenience/effectiveness. Size confusion: Two sizes shown, then "one size fits all." I ordered S/M for wife after liking my L/XL; same physical size delivered and had to be returned.

I live in SoCal and never have a need for these. But when in Toronto I learned very quickly why these are required as part of PPE. Inspectors need to see either the orange band or the cleet depending on ise conditions. I recommend these for anyone living in the northern Americas.

Works well on the ice and hard snow

Well, these are not extremely heavy duty. They are a solid and functional ice cleat. I figure I will get several uses out of them. They do slip a little bit if you are exerting a lot of force, such as trying to push something up the hill or from side to side, but beyond that they are great for Walking and pushing a snowblower

Based on shoe size a medium cleat was purchased. But it really does not fit over the boot. Sizing seems to be made for shoes rather than boots, which one typically wears when ice is expected. I'm keeping this for my kids, but will have to try their larger size next to see if it fits my boots. For the manufacturer: The design is a good idea. Just please use some real Canadian winter boots when measuring for product development.

OMG these things suck. The metal pieces are coming off after a weeks worth of walking.

The orange straps that hold the cleats freezes and gets stiff as a rock. Then they fall off! You cannot re-attach to boot because the orange straps will not stretch and the straps will not adjust anymore due to being frozen. The cleats are too short to accommodate any boots with a heel. Good idea, terrible execution Avoid these ice cleats at all costs.

The ice cleats work as intended. Great traction on ice. Easy to slip on to boot and they fit nicely.

Tested and pretty good. Maybe the black support seems too large and feels a bit thin. Otherwise does the job

Pros: great price, appear sturdy, small and easy to store, easy and fast to slip over shoes, very adjustable, nice color--hard to lose them, and lastly...here in the midwest we have had a couple of weeks of heavy compacted snow, with light melting, then sub zero freezing, then freezing rain on top of it all, and these have carried me across several glazed parking lots and sidewalks; they work very well, and I haven't busted my six once.Cons: They are tall in cross section, or thick, however you want to look at it, meaning, they are best with outer soles with a large arch to heel transition, for comforts sake AND for keeping them on your shoes; I wore them with some casual, flat soled slip on shoes, and while they worked, the foot bed/sole are thin, and they were not very comfortable...imagine taping a C-cell battery to the center of each foot, then walking. That's a bit exaggerated, but you get the idea. On other shoes, with thicker foot beds and soles, they felt just fine. They are surprisingly stable to be secured by only an elastic band, due to the rigid and thick nature of the stud backing. It is imperative that you find the happy spot between retaining them in position and ease of installing them, or they will eventually come off.In summary, buy them! They are great to keep in the truck for trips across parking lots and sidewalks, especially at this price. Buy one for strangers that are falling! Just know that these are not for hiking or running.
