My friend has a very large and rambunctious golden doodle. Jake loves to play with balls. The last ones I ordered for him he was able to rip to shreds, as they were only tennis balls. What did I KNOW!This time around I correctly chose this item. He has yet to tear up one. This is a top-quality, well-made toy.

These are small but not too small. My 20-pound dog can walk around with it in his mouth without having his jaw open too wide but not too small where there is even a chance of swallowing it. The mating is perfect where they cannot easily pull it off like regular tennis balls. They still bounch which is a huge plus.

This is my second time purchasing these. My frenchie loves them and can fit them in his mouth, which is an issue with most balls. He destroys most toys fairly quickly, but thus hold up for months before he destroys them.

Terrible quality balls. One of my golden retrievers destroyed one within minutes (the two attached photos are that ball) and we had to feed him hydrogen peroxide to force him to vomit it back up so it wouldn't clog his intestines. We've bred golden retrievers for 15 years and for all that time we've used Wilson tennis balls with no issues. Every now and then they'll rip the felt off of a Wilson and we'll take it away. I thought it would be a good idea to try some balls specifically made for dogs, so I bought these. Perhaps there are some good balls out there made for dogs, but not this brand.Another downside to them is they hardly bounce. They'll do one bounce about half to a quarter as high as a regular tennis ball, and then won't do much if any of a secondary bounce. That doesn't work very well for dogs that like to jump and catch balls in the air after they've bounced.

If your dog had a bucket list, fetching tennis balls would probably be near the top. And if that’s the case, then the Hyper Pet Tennis Balls are their VIP ticket to Fetch World. These little balls of joy are the real deal, perfect for small breeds that are living their best life chasing after something that probably doesn’t need to be chased but is just so throwable. The 12-pack means you can never lose a ball again...unless, of course, it gets lost in a mysterious “dog dimension” where all the socks go. These 2.5-inch tennis balls are the right size for those dogs that aren’t quite large enough to play with the big leagues. Think of them as the perfectly sized appetizer for the full-on Fetch Feast. Plus, they’re made from non-toxic material, so your pup can gnaw on them all day without worrying about a tummy ache (unless they’re overzealous and gobble up the whole ball...don’t worry, I won’t judge). If your dog doesn’t love fetch yet, they will after these balls come into their life. They’re designed to be durable enough for constant chomping while still offering that classic “bounce, roll, and fetch” action that gets dogs going.Pros: • 12 balls = endless fetch sessions (until the dog gets tired, but let’s be honest, that’s probably never). • Perfect size for small breeds—no choking hazards, just good ol’ fun. • Non-toxic materials for guilt-free playtime. • They squeak. And we all know that squeak is like doggy kryptonite. • Durability means no more fetching balls that break after three tosses (we’ve all been there).Cons: • They might not hold up as well with very heavy chewers (but don’t worry, your dog won’t know the difference until they’ve already swallowed half of one). • They don’t come in tennis-ball-flavor. If they did, I think we’d all be out of a job.If you’re looking to upgrade your dog’s fetch game (or just keep them entertained while you catch up on your own Netflix binging), these Hyper Pet Tennis Balls are a solid choice. Plus, your dog will be too busy fetching to judge your questionable snack choices.

My dog LOVES tennis balls, all balls really. We have tried so many different brands, both ones that are specifically made for dogs and regular human tennis balls. For those that don’t know, the felt material on human tennis balls is abrasive for dog’s teeth and will wear them down. Some also contain harmful chemicals and dyes. I wasn’t aware of this and my dog got a rash around her mouth from Penn brand tennis balls. Luckily we didn’t use them long enough for her teeth to get worn down. Penn balls have a strong smell. They smell strongly of rubber. These pink tennis balls also smell strongly of rubber. So much so that after my dog played with one her muzzle smelled like rubber for days until I finally bathed her to get the smell off. She was also able to destroy these balls within minutes by removing the felt and tearing open the rubber casing. I won’t be buying these again. We will stick with Kong SqueakAir balls, those seem to be the most durable and dog friendly so far.
