Having used hotel safes, having one at home, makes it easy to keep little or flat items safe and handy without the need of a larger version which holds more documents or guns and other need-to-guard items. Recommended for utility.

Safe can be operated in either personal mode or in hotel mode. With hotel mode, you can have a override password in the event your guests forget their own.Two keys for mechanical override.LED lighting internally and the keypad can be silenced.Pre-drilled for mounting bottom or back. (not top) So you can bolt this to a floor, wall or piece of furniture such as a desk.Reasonable security with a incorrect guessing lockout timer.This isn't a bank safe. It's primary purpose is keeping non-criminals honest and its well built for that purpose.I really like it.

We've been on the hunt for the perfect hotel-style safe for our Airbnb, and we finally found it! This safe ticks all the boxes. With the option to set up an administrator passcode, our guests can easily create their own unique codes for added security.What really impressed us is the incredible quality of this safe—it's solidly constructed and has a nice weight to it. Setting it up was a breeze; it took less than a minute, including installing the four AA batteries in the handy holder. I couldn't be happier with this safe. It's super easy to use, program, and change modes between hotel and personal. I use it in my office, and so far, I have no complaints.This safe is roomy, about the size of most hotel safes, and will fit a wide variety of items, such as multiple firearms, coins, books, tablets, laptops, or anything else you want to secure. Programming personalized passwords is easy, and it even comes with a key for emergency lockouts, which is a real plus.I also like the design details: the dark display is great for bedrooms or places where bright lights can be a disturbance; in the low light, the backlight lets you access it quite easily. You can disable the keyboard "beep" for quiet operation, and the built-in lighting is sufficient for finding your belongings.Another plus is that this device operates on a battery: it runs on four AA batteries, so no external power is needed, which makes it portable and convenient for different locations-be it home offices, workspaces, dorms, or hotel rooms.In other words, the price is really good considering the quality and features you get. I would have no problem recommending this safe or purchasing another one for myself. It's a versatile and reliable choice for anyone in search of security and convenience in one package.

This is a sturdy steel safe with digital programmable keypad, larger than expected, inside is about 1 cu ft and it's big enough to hold a laptop. It's easy to operate and you can program the pin # so it's perfect for hotels, motels or Airbnb homes. Guests can have a place to store valuables and program the pin # themselves. The safe has holes in the back and the bottom so it can be bolted to a shelf, comes with hardware. It comes with 2 keys for emergencies. If the battery dies or a pin is forgotten, the key will open the safe but it can't lock the safe. If the safe is opened with the key, it won't lock until a pin # is entered and key removed. Keypad is backlit and when you open the safe, an inside light comes on so you can see inside. I think it's a good safe and reasonably priced.
