I like the item. The color was perfect and I enjoy the comfort of it, my only issue is that the reading light was not included. The advertisement and the card insert both state a reading light is included.

On the plus side, this pillow was surprisingly firm and heavy. I liked that it came with extra stuffing if you prefer a firmer backrest, though I didn't find I needed it. I like that the cover can be removed for washing. I haven't yet washed the cover so I can't speak to how it washes up. For me, this was where the upsides ended. In terms of functionality, I find it annoying that the head rest portion doesn't stay put. I'm always needing to adjust it because it moves down where I don't want it. I didn't realize it's detachable, which some people might prefer, but I purchased it because I wanted the higher head rest design. There are straps that attach the head rest to buttons on the main back rest pillow, and they ripped out and detached pretty quickly after using it just a few times. I tried sewing it back on but that didn't work either. I've taken to using a safety pin to hold the thing on, which is disappointing to have to do, but also not the safest or most brilliant solution because the safety pin can open up and poke me. I find that the length of the straps give it too much wiggle room for the head rest to slide down to the front, where I want my back to be. Not the greatest in functionality. I know some reviews talked about a smell; I didn't notice one.

I've orthopedic/spinal problems my entire life. Getting comfortable sleep has always been difficult. This pillow has solved my problem!Because of this pillow I'm finally getting a good night's sleep. I'm not waking up pain anymore. I'm so thankfull I found Homie Pillow. Top quality AND A GREAT VALUE.I HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!

There are a few reviews about how the pillow is saggy - ignore them. The detailed instructions that come with the product tells us to leave the pillow alone for 24-48 hours and give it a good shake now and then in this period.Mine took around 18 hours to fluff up and OMG this is the best pillow I've seen or had. I wanted a pillow with good back support and on the rigid side of things and this is perfect. What's more, it allows for varying levels of rigidity with the foam reserve pack.Yes, the plastic packaging was a little challenging to open, especially using a sharp instrument (going against instructions) extremely carefully to prevent any damage to the pillow. It is extremely well packaged though. It warns about a possible smell but we did not experience this.My one gripe with the pillow is the headrest. the pillow has a couple of buttons up top and the headrest has a couple of strings that loop at these buttons. However, the loop tail length is constant. This means that after the headrest has been looped around the buttons, there is a long string between the headrest and the pillow, so the headrest sags and becomes next to useless. However, given that this pillow is tall AF, this is not a huge problem. I'd like to see this addressed though. A simple solution would be to use those tightening loops like certain bags use where you can use a button to slide to desired tightness.Overall, I'd buy this again - but I hope not to - in that I hope this pillow lasts a few years.

This pillow is crazy soft and very comfy. It did take a few days for the foam within the pillow to expand correctly and be the firmness I was looking forward to. It did come with a small bag of extra foam that I which was a little more. However, I am not disappointed in the final product. I felt that the pillow was the right amount of firmness and easy to move into the position I need it. Big fan.

I decided to get this because the mother of my bf's daughter is now staying with us and taking over my living room so I have to live in my bedroom and sitting on my bed reading, watching tv, or playing on laptop is very hard on my back, had to deal with it once before. The pillow is supposed to take a day or so to fluff up and I shook and fluffed it up enough and was able to use it on the couch when I first got it. Now it is very supportive and I am using it in my bed and my back doesn't hurt so it has made these last 2 weeks very comfortable. I also use the book light and it also works good for me.

This reading/back support pillow is awesome! I searched through every possible option before I chose this one. It is difficult to know exactly what you are getting when you order online so I will try to be helpful here:First, this comes vacuum packed. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. it will fluff up once it is removed from the package. Give it about 24 hours to reach its full shape.This pillow provides great support. It is firm and does not slouch.I am a full time college student so I needed a comfortable reading/study pillow to lean on. I chose the extra large because it comes with a head support pillow that can be attached or removed easily.I am short so it turns out that I didn't need the head support after all because the pillow is tall enough to provide good support for my back and neck. If you are a tall person considering this pillow, definitely order the extra large like I did. You will probably want the additional neck/support if you are tall.This came with additional foam stuffing but I have had no problem with this pillow keeping it's shape. It stays firm and full even during long work periods.It is easy to adjust the position of this back pillow for comfort.The fabric is very soft but yet sturdy.I do wish the side rests were larger. But the great back support and shape retention makes up for that.The pillow has a very large pocket on the back for storage.I definitely recommend this pillow for reading in bed or watching TV.It also comes with a wrist support pillow which I don't need and don't use but I think it's a great option for people who need extra wrist support.

I bought this for my boyfriend who was recovering from surgery and we both adore it! It is large enough for him but not so large that its burdensome to store when not in use, and it comes with a super convenient handle that I didn't know I needed until I used it. The extras are nice but mostly unnecessary except for the reading light which has quickly become almost as used as the pillow! Such great quality and rechargeable!
