It took for ever to put this together. After getting it together we noticed defects in the top finish very rough. Crack and raise pieces on top as well. Very disappointed. Pictures attached. I will fill out a complaint hoping I can get new top piece that are in good shape and have a nice finish. The rest of it looks nice. Hopefully I get replacement tops . Then I will do another review.

I've had this exactly one year. I wanted to love it because it's beautiful but it's one of the worst quality pieces of furniture I've ever bought. It uses all cam locks to hold it together and, no matter how many times you go tighten them back up, they just go loose, and if you think you'll just tighten them a little bit more, the bolt snaps off. Now, the doors don't open and close properly on the sides and the top is falling off. Besides the cam locks, it's all super thin cardboard "wood" except the top, which is very thin bamboo that bends very easily. I'm afraid one of my grandkids will end up leaning on it and falling through it. Also, the finish on the top is awful. Right out of the box, it had unfinished gouges in it like someone had screwed up with the saw and whomever had finished it was afraid to sand it even thinner than it already is. These gouges collect dirt and grime very easily. The finish on the top is also so thin that it's almost completely worn away in one year. I'm really not happy that I spent so much money on this and it's complete junk. This is my second piece of furniture from this company and I bought this one because the first was very good quality. This one is my last. I will never buy from them again with huge, over inflated prices and low quality furniture. They had a chance to be a good company and blew it to cut costs. Do not buy this, you will regret it.

I love it, but it was definitely a 2 person job. And one should be able to understand blueprints. The instructions are clear, but this is not for beginners.If you love it, tho' get it & learn how to assemble it. You need a Phillips screwdriver. So it's probably better if you've used one before. The pieces are pre-drilled, making it easier to set up.I'd buy it again. I love it!

Item was a perfect size and unique design. For the price and quality, I’d say it meets expectations. Reminder that this item is shipped in TWO packages. I originally thought I was missing part, it turns out the second package came a day later. Shipping packaging could be better. Mine was all ripped up but nothing was damaged. Overall I’m very happy with our new Kitchen Island.

Love that this island gives you lots of space but doesn't take up to much room. It's great for small areas. As to the quality, seems fine. It's worth the price, you get what you paid for and we are really enjoying it. It didn't take as long as I thought to put it together and we got all the pieces parts needed.
