I bought these because my cat had a leg injury that required surgery, and she needs to be in a cage for several weeks while she heals. She also has a tendency to throw litter everywhere when using the litter box, so I needed a hand broom and dustpan set. I thought these would be fine for that, but the dust pan is lacking that rubber piece on the front that allows debris to easily slide into the pan. Because of that, I have to pass over the same litter pile 3-5 times and it still leaves litter behind. I tried more than one item from this set to make sure it wasn't just a defect on one item. Otherwise they seem to work fine, but I'm leaving this as 2 stars because that missing piece limits the base functionality. It would probably work fine for sweeping bigger things, but I only needed it for litter so I can't say for sure.

Flimsier than I expected and bristles are sparse and not dense at all. Okay and semi-functional for the kids to play with and “use” but wouldn’t recommend or buy again.

The dustpan won't collect dirt swept. It needs the rubber strip. Handy, but also frustrating
