HHIP 1/2 X 9 X 3/16" Double End Boring Bar Machined from selected steel for greater strength and rigidity. Broached holes accept high speed steel and carbide tool bits. Black oxide finish. Bars have one 45° end and one 90° end. Takes 3/16" tool bits. Item #2000-0002 is the High Speed Steel tool bit and #2000-0042 is the M42 Cobalt tool bit.

Exit hole on 45 degree, too far from end of the boring bar. I had to grind the end of the bar down to be able to bore a hole similar to the diameter of the boring bar. The hole for the 3/16 bit is a bit oversized.

Works well. I use a lot of HSS lathe tooling. Great addition to my tooling options.
