So i bought this extra leaf for my 2007 ford f150 and it worked perfectly. i tow a boat every summer and I would always notice when I go across the train track or pull in to a gas station and go across any slope in the road the rear will always bounce up and down and there will be some sway. this product really helped with all that sway and extra rocking from normal road obstacles. I do recommend ones you install them tighten them to the stiffest settings possible to give you the best results when it comes to those issues I explained.

It was easy to install with the exception of the U bolts and nuts. The threads were not manufactured very well it was the biggest battle to get them to fit.

Second set of these installed on two F150s. Great for load leveling and getting rid of the rear sag. Plan for an hour a side to install. Less if your more mechanically inclined. Will need a couple different sockets and wrenches and a torque wrench. I've got mine adjusted with a 1inch clearance between the add on leaf and the factory spring. Little stiffer ride but I haul pretty heavy loads of firewood on trucks and trailers. Squats about an Inch before they stiffen up. If you add more clearance between add on and stock spring the ride will soften and the load may ride a bit lower as well.

Had to adjust a my brake line brackets, but other than that, installation was a piece of cake. Took a little adjustments to get it such that these don’t affect normal ride quality, but can’t complain after 500 miles of hauling a trailer.

Ordered the right one but my 2008 F150 has 4ply springs and it doesn’t fit on it. Factory clamps are in the way. Manufacture said just cut it. I didn’t want to. Ended up sending it back.

This is an excellent product. Works as described, however it can be a chore to install for one person. I was able to do it by myself, but it took me a while. Unless you are well equipped with lots of tools, I might consider taking this to a mechanic to install. After they are installed, I can put a load on my truck with hardly any lowering. I'm very pleased with this product. Quality build.

it arrived with a partially open box, but all the hardware and instructions were still there. easy to install (2008 F150). much firmer ride without a trailer. only used them to tow a small enclosed trailer so far, but made a really noticeable difference in the handling. great product and glad i bought them

Easily installed, but had to crank the preload all the way down to keep it from rattling, barely clears the frame on the front, and really makes very little difference in the loaded ride height...I fear it will hit the frame on the first bump...should have ordered the air springs instead...

Installed on my 2004 F150 SuperCrew with truck topper because the stock leaf springs were looking a bit flat, especially with the topper, and I wanted to restore some of its rake in general and for towing. The helpers Installed easily and raised the rear end about 1/2 inch. I also changed the rear shocks while I was at it. The only issue I encountered was with the anti-squeak pads and the right rear brake line. I had to saw off some of the excess retainer plastic that protruded through the leaf spring due to where the u-bolts needed to rest (NOT the actual pad). And the brake line is resting on the u-bolt retainer nuts. Three months later I still have that 1/2 inch raise, the u-bolts/helpers haven't budged, the anti-squeak pads are still there, and there is zero sign of brake line wear despite the rubber line resting on the retainer nuts.

I put this on a Ford F150 long wheelbase fit like a dream, I Adjusted end of the spring helper all the way down to about a quarter inch off of the factory springs that gives it full strenth, I put my Center clamps with the boats on top so they didn't get in the way of the brake line, Also make sure You have your helper spring centered and noticed to make sure the ends of it does not come down and hit the keeper that's on the end of your factory spring, I did not have to take my tire off to get the job done, just got between the tire and the fender well so I could work on it, I called the factory to make sure of the adjustment and they said if you just all the way down to about a quarter inch that will give you maximum strength, It's supposed to be level at 2000 pound of weight on it, I use a slide in truck camper I have not got to try it,I have not got to try the truck camper on it but it only weighs about 15 to 1600 pounds and it only squatted my truck a little but it was enough to make it unleveled So I Hope these springs do the job it's got a help. I'll put a review on later to update to let you know if they do work. They appear to be built very well have a lifetime warranty. Text me until June 1 2013 to let me know if this review helped you, by that time I should know. Whenever I read a review seemed like it never has what I need on it 304 678 5081
