Three black coated wire panels, arrives shipped in 6 half panels that attach on each middle section with small bolts. Three of the panels have flat edges and three have grooved edges, so be sure to look before assembling. It is packaged with a small bag containing the Allen wrench, small screwdriver, side bolts, and then metal clamps to hold the panels together. It may have helped to have feet to add to the bottom of the panels for additional stability. Overall, assembly wasn’t difficult and it is reasonably stable as long as there isn’t a ton of weight placed on each panel. (Value of $86.99 at time of review)

NOTE: When you receive this, it's very helpful to have a #2 phillips screwdriver with a comfortable handle ready to go, or even a decent size flat-blade screwdriver, since the screws used here can take both. I also suggest you wear gloves, as the metal has burrs on it in places, and of course my hand discovered these early on and I got a nice little burning cut on my palm from it.I got this to use in the garage to hang tools, and possibly as a display for boutiques and yard sales. Unfortunately, it's too large and heavy to be very portable so it may just stay assembled in the garage.The grid squares are each 3"x3" on this unit.I was confused about accessories when I searched around & read the page. You should know there are no shelves or hooks or any kind of accessories included with this. I have a number of S-hooks that I can use for now to hang things from it.It's a bit awkward to assemble, especially by myself, and since there are no instructions (and I've never put one of these together before), I had to go to the product page on Amazon to look at the photos to figure out how it goes together properly. I found a video among the page photos that demonstrated, which was a little more helpful.It takes some finessing to align the screw holes. The little hex key is a bit awkward to use, and the little screwdriver they include is just too small to adequately tighten the screws. There are also no nuts included, so I worry about the screws coming loose over time. There are a few extra screws included, but I'd feel more comfortable finding some proper nuts & washers to secure them.If you're getting this for home use, be sure to have a spacious area to put it together. It arrives as six 3'x3' panels that you have to put together into three 6' high panels, which you then attach to each other, so it gets pretty big and pretty heavy as you work.Overall, it's a fairly decent rack that has potential when I find some decent accessories. I expect it to be pretty durable, although I won't know for sure until time has passed. At nearly $90 when I ordered, I'm not familiar enough with this kind of thing to know if it's a good value or not. I'd be happier if they added just a few extra things -- at least instructions and washers/nuts if not a couple of starter shelves or peg hooks -- to be able to recommend it right now.As it is, it just barely makes it to 4 stars from me.

The gridwall squares are heavy duty but when stacked they do not feel secure. I am using them instead by mounting them on a wall and they are working fine that way. If you want a 6 foot tall grid I suggest getting a one piece panel that is 6 feet. They are heavy but I would not call them portable. The grid wall panels are sturdy, and the finish is evenly applied. The hardware that attaches the panels once they have been put together vertically allows for them to be repositioned. The hardware comes in a bag to keep everything together until you get the panel elements positioned where you want them. Still deciding whether we'll use this for artwork or clothing storage, but we are happy with the sturdiness, functionality and quality.

So I love this unit but I was not thrilled about the condition of the parts. The box was fine when it got to me and the panels are well protected by individual bags, yet there were scuffs on several panels. These are just examples of the scuffs but there were more scuffs I did not upload. More worrisome were that two of the panels were bent on one side, one of them a lot, the other just a little. You can see when I was trying to screw it together one of the sides would lift up. I had to put pliers to it to get the screw one which only made yet more scuffs.I did not find an instruction sheet inside the box but it was pretty straight forward how the parts go if you look at the pictures on the item page. I got this for clothing. It is great for that. I put a large area rug over it in order to dry it inside my home after I washed it as I have no outside area with clothes lines. It is great that it folds to one third the size which can go behind the cabinet where I store it.
