I bought this as a gift for the hubby so he can do his coin collecting hobby like he is supposed to. This magnifier is made really well with high quality items. The magnification seems a little off, but that could be hubby's eyes also. I don't know. I had no problem.

I bought the Hayve Coin Microscope for my husband who collects old coins and can't always see the date and mint markings with his eyes. It has 1000X magnification and 8 Adjustable LEDs, and it comes with a 32GB TF card for storage. It was easy to set up and it's working great!

The instructions for use are not just awful but impossible to understand and weird

I purchased this to get better picture quality for my coins. I wrongly assumed that when it said zoom in and out that there would be a noticeable difference in as much as being able to see the whole coin and then zoom in for detail - I was wrong. The picture above is the Max & Min zoom for a one cent coin with the lens as far away as it can be and still focus. As you can see, there is not much difference. There is no way I can see more than maybe 25% of any other coins, Having said that, the video allows me to move the coin manually and take a video of it in stunning clarity which I can then post on the site of choice but I would have preferred a photo! There is no automatic zoom, you have to unscrew the back part and move it manually up and down the pole - a bit of a pain when you have a couple of hundred coins to list. If you are looking to enhance photos of something smaller than 1c, this is definitely a great buy for the price. I love the way it connects to the computer, I like that the photo card was included. I am not knocking this product in any way - I am certainly not returning it because it will be useful even with the limitations but please be aware that the photos shown with it on the site are about as small as you can get them. Any problem is not with the product - it is my fault for thinking and not fully understanding that the zoom appears fixed at 1000% - part of that is because it shows a photo of a flower but I don't think I have ever seen a flower in fulll bloom that measures less than a 1c coin

It works well. I bought this item to see coin dates that I can't see with my eyes. I can't seem to see the whole coin once I zoom in. You have to move the coin around. I could also be looking at it wrong. It still works for me and I would buy this item again. For the price, I am happy with the product.

Works great. I wish it had more magnification. But for the price i cannot complain. I'm actually impressed with the clarity.

This is an amazing digital microscope it works great for the things I use it for pencil sketching, stamp and coin collecting and anything else my old eyes have trouble seeing. I have it set up with my large computer monitor and its great.

Makes viewing coins and jewelry stamps a breeze. Clear image on the screen. Works like it should. Good price and even better when you can get it on sale.

So I recieved this to inspect coins and while it does have a pretty powerful microscope, I was unable to get the coin focused in it's entirety on the screen. The center would be focused but towards the outer field of view would blur no matter how much i tweaked the led, focus, distance, etc. But the bigger problem for me is, you cannot visualize an entire coin, as the distance cannot be extended enough. I was willing to try an extender rod the manufacturer sells, but could not get confirmation if it's compatible with my particular model, and was unable to get anyone from the manufacturer to answer my question when reaching out. So unfortunately, i will most likely be returning 🫤
