I bought these for my granddaughter who is turning four who loves to play imaginary games. She wanted to play restaurant, so I thought having a set of real life guest checks would be just the right thing for her. I was right. She really loves playing with these and I got her a menu set, a server’s apron, and servers notepad to go with it. These were a lot of fun for a child but would also be useful for an adult who’s actually a server.These were a really good deal. The printing on them was clear. They were a good value. The paper was just thick enough to not tear easily, but not so thick that it weighed the pad down.

My 10 year old granddaughter loves to pretend to be a waitress. She takes our orders, uses the play kitchen to prepare the orders, delivers them to us, and then brings the bill. She has a working cash register to ring up her sales. For Christmas she got an apron, laminated restaurant menus, these receipt pads, and a book like the real waitresses use to bring your check to the table and take your money or credit card. She loved it. She is a tough cookie to buy for, and we are always looking for ways to get her off her electronics. This teaches life skills and lets her use her imagination.

Exactly as it should be. It was my mistake that I ordered a set without the tables and chairs diagrams which was my original reason for ordering these to begin with since we just purchased a tavern and were implementing a new system for staff and bringing in some new employees I had wanted to make it easier on them and somehow got excited and purchased these without noticing I’d moved onto a design with the diagrams so that’s on me. They seem to be holding up well, don’t tear down the ticket or anything when tearing from the stack, and haven’t had any issues with them yet. I’ve noticed recently I’m tearing more than 1 at a time by accident and not realizing I’ve grabbed more than a single ticket so I will buy a different pad style next time to see if they might be a little thicker or somehow better separated pages from one another
