The Govee Outdoor Projector Light stands out with its fun image animations and vibrant colors, offering a decent projection size that livens up any outdoor space. The unit is well-constructed and comes nicely packaged, reflecting attention to quality.However, the light's projection strength is extremely underwhelming, being non-existent beyond 20 feet from the house. This makes it difficult to appreciate the display from the street. Additionally, for the price, the light projection feels mediocre, making it a less cost-effective option for those looking for powerful outdoor lighting.

The projector light was purchased for my son who hurt his back and couldn't put up his lights.The projector did the job. Beautiful. Excellent

I saw some reviews that people thought this was smaller than they expected. It's like the size of a raisin bread loaf. I expected it to be smaller based on what people said. It's bigger than just a laser projector for sure. But that's not a problem.The light isn't really bright enough with other Christmas lights in your house. Don't expect to put this thing 50 ft away from your house. You won't see anything as far as the light goes. You will see the lasers if you have it. 25...30ft from your house but might not be what you expect. I ended up moving it about 15 ft away It got what I expected out of the lasers. I think it could be much brighter, but it does project some cool patterns. We prefer the laser dots moving all around the house and it works well for that.So buy this for the laser show. The app works really well just as it does for the other govee lights. It's all app control, so no remote. It's fun to use and for the kids to play around with. It does have pretty good coverage over a wide area even with it as close as I have it to the house.The stake to put in the ground is plastic. So it's durability is in question. If you try to put it in the ground when it's hard in the winter. I suggest waiting for a warmer day to push it into the ground.

I'm using this inside this year and have a perfect spit for the projector. It's so fun changing up the display and colors, etc. I love this and all the other Govee products I own.

Love Govee products! Works great! Have it on Christmas mode in our living/family room. Great ambience with the lit up tree whilst watching movies in the dark.

I just plugged it in and connected my phone to it. The projector has many options i think it will work for the majority of the holidays. It has nothing programmed for Thanksgiving. You can adjust the colors of the aurora to make fall colors. I like the aurora the way it moves indoors it will calm you to the point of falling asleep. I can see this being a beautiful addition to my christmas decorations and nice for halloween. I will change my review if it's not up to par outdoors if needed.

Thought I would spend some extra on one of these projectors and make the house look fun for the kids. It’s a nice product in theory, the app is useable and the graphics look fun. A few problems. It isn’t bright, at all. You can barely see the images. Just nowhere near bright enough to be noticeable. Also, connections are a pain, can’t reliably connect to the unit.Take a pass on this and save your money

I recently bought the Govee Outdoor Projector Light, hoping to use it for projecting designs onto the front of my house. While the product shines in some areas, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.The projection quality is fantastic indoors. The colors are vibrant, and the holiday scenes are creative and fun. The build quality is excellent too. it feels sturdy and well-made.However, when I tried using it outdoors, the brightness fell short. Even within the recommended range, the projection appeared dim and lacked the same clarity I saw indoors. I wanted to light up the face of my house from a slight distance, but the display just didn’t have the impact I was looking for.If you’re planning to use this indoors, it’s absolutely worth it—10/10 for indoor use. But for outdoor applications, it works best if you keep it very close to the surface you’re targeting. Unfortunately, since I bought it specifically for outdoor use, I’m a bit let down.Overall, it’s an excellent product for indoor decorations, but it doesn’t quite deliver for outdoor brightness.Rating: • Indoor Use: 5/5 • Outdoor Use: 3/5

I am so disappointed in Govee on this one; they had to know how bad these were and sold them anyway.HUGE swing and a miss.I had such high hopes for this, I bought 3 of them at a discounted price of 79.99 ea. I have Govee Pro 200 light set on my house and even from 10 feet away, they are so dim the aurora is barely visible and the laser lights only a little bit better. If this were the only lights on my dark house, they might work, but I thought they would match well w my Govee Pro. I returned all 3.In addition to that, the scenes and UI is extremely limited for a Govee product. I would take the projectors you can get anywhere from $15-20, before I would use these. In fact I did.Go back to the drawing board Govee, and design something fitting for the price. Dont wreck your good image with products you know are crap; we will call it on you every time...
