Used with Nest Learning Thermostat 4.8, works as it should and have had no issues since installed. This sensor synced with the stat just as easily as the two that came with it. Battery seems to be holding up just as well as the others as well.

I recently installed the Google Nest Thermostat in my home, and I'm blown away by its performance! The setup process was a breeze, and the Google Home app made it easy to integrate with my existing smart home devices. The thermostat's learning algorithm is impressive, as it quickly adapted to my schedule and preferences to optimize temperature adjustments. The energy efficiency features are also a big plus, as it helps me save energy by automatically switching to an energy-saving mode when I'm away from home. The design of the thermostat is sleek and modern, and it looks great on my wall. The separate temperature sensor is also a great feature, as it allows for more accurate readings and can be placed in any room.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the Google Nest Thermostat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and efficient thermostat.*Pros:*- Easy setup and integration with Google Home- Smart temperature control and energy efficiency features- Sleek and modern design- Separate temperature sensor for accurate readings*Cons:* None!*Recommendation:* If you're looking for a top-notch smart thermostat, look no further than the Google Nest Thermostat. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to upgrade their home's heating and cooling system.

Works great. Comes with easy instructions. The nest app is a little jumbled, you’ll find this under equipment and then the device. It measures accurate temperature and that’s it. Connects just fine through walls.

Really works well with Best 4th gen learning stat. Had a cold bedroom so I put it in there and it worked perfectly. Now it averages the two temps and uses that to operate the furnace at amore constant temp.

You can't even opt to use the average temperature across all of these devices (or your Nest Thermostat). You can pick ONE at a time, the temperature that device is at is how your temps will be adjusted. You either have to manually select to switch every time, OR you have to set a schedule and only one device can run at a time.My schedule isn't the same every day, so you're telling me I constantly have to adjust the temp sensor preference??? The whole point of this was so I don't have to constantly adjust my thermostat in the first place!!I really can't wrap my head around how GOOGLE is managing to make such garbage tech, I genuinely regret every Smart Home item I've purchased due to the daily inaccuracies or constant repetition of commands (despite having the highest model hubs in every room).I am an IT Endpoint Architect for a Hospital group, and I've read countless forums and tried every setting combination possible for my smart home items... They just suck compared to competitors. And good God am I sick of it replying to every command, where others will simply do the task and shut up.Save your money & avoid headaches, buy from literally any other company!

Was a bit concerned as to whether this was compatible with our 7 year old Nest, but works well. Easy to set up in the Nest App. Have it in our family room which is cooler in the evening so when we are in it, I have it scheduled to automatically use sensor in Family Room and rest of time use the thermostat. Can also over ride during anytime. Excellent addition for anyone who needs different temps in parts of the house

If you have a Google nest thermostat that is compatible with these sensors and can justify the average of $50 per cents cost then these might actually be something that can improve your heating and cooling needs in your house, granted you follow the instructions and use them as their intended to be used. The trick with these sensors is to see which room or rooms have a much different temperature than the rest of them and then you open and close your vent registers as needed to average it out.For example, if your bedroom is 5° more than your living room, close your bedroom register and keep your living room register open. This will force more air to the room that is needed.Caution note, however: try different variations and monitor overtime to be on the safe side as if you have a lot of events closed and one open it may get too hot in one room or another. It takes some back-and-forth and different trial and error periods. After fiddling with it for quite some time, you should see a little bit of a difference or a lot, depending on the difference in temperature and the type of vents that are installed in your house. They’re easy to pair to the Google home app, which is also set up to my Alexa app, but it only lets me control the main thermostat through Alexa not the individual sensors.Overall worked well for us so we can regulator house, but it’s very expensive, especially if you have several

This sensor was very easy to connect to my Google nest and it is great to be able to heat the bedroom the way we need it at night since the other thermostat is in the entryway where it tends to be cooler at night so that way the furnace isn’t running all night heating up the upstairs Bedrooms. I also like that I can look and see what the temperature is in another room like my garage even though I’m not using my to heat that area, But the sensor can be taken with me to another room or I don’t have a sensor yet.
