I have been trimming down my kit over the years & focusing on doing less with more. I was happy to find this light as it fit my needs perfectly. Simple design & operation. I have used this light on all of my camera bodies, Canon R6, Canonet QL17 GIII, Pentax FT & Contax G1. Testing on my Canon R6 helped me reassure my thinking that I was using the flash correctly and that helped me film more comfortable using it with my film cameras.

I like that it's light it's been something I have been wanting to try.Don't like. I can't adjust angles of the flash. It works with 2 AAA batteries and it takes a while for the flash shoot the first shot. At full power, the cycle can be a bit long. At lowest power it can shoot burst fine - I haven't tested the maximum amount. Short bursts, fine. The flash 'hot' spot seem pretty narrow before falling off. Not recommended for physically long lenses with hood.... may create shadows from lens

This flash will always be in my go to camera bag due to it being light and small. I have missed many opportunities in the past of not wanting to carry a huge flash but not anymore. The flash works perfectly with my Sony A7iii camera. There was no need to tweak any camera settings to get it to work and I didn’t need to use the supplied cable. I used generic batteries so probably why it took about 2 seconds for the flash to recharge but that can be fixed using rechargeable batteries. There is a slight blue color cast but I shoot in Raw format so it can be fixed in Lightroom or any other software. I highly recommend this flash due to its small design and low cost.This is my 2nd Godox flash and they haven’t failed me yet.Buy it!

When I need a small compact flash I can travel lite with and minimal gear, this flash is great ..be sure to use lithium ion batteries for a faster recycle time, easy and simple to use and perfect for small events and has that retro feel from the 80’s, vintage style and nostalgia for some creative shots, didn’t disappoint, remarkable performance and had fun using it my first time ..easy to carry so it’ll stay in my camera bag wherever I go.

I’ve spun the dial many different ways trying to adjust the settings and I’m pretty certain it doesn’t really do anything. It’s also very loose and never really stays on the setting I select

Works ok for most inside shots that are close. Plus if the camera doesn't have a flash bulit in it this is a very small unit to use it you really need a flash without having to carry a huge one for some inside shots you mite need a flash for. It works ok for it's size for sure. I like it ok and it is very small so I can carry it for indoor shots if I need to have a small flash.
