I wanted to retrofit existing closet drawers that had non self closing slides so I bought one set of these to test them. It took less than 10 minutes to swap out the old slides for the new ones and they worked perfectly once installed. Easy to operate and self closing once you push the drawer to within about 2” of fully closed. I’ll be buying more to finish the rest of the drawers in the closet.

Install went well, though I did install the rails on the cabinet a little high causing the bottom of the drawer to drag on the bottom edge of the opening. No big deal, just lower the rails about 3/8" and away it went in.The rails are being used for a large drawer that holds a 25lb bag of rice along with some containers. These rails have problem holding the weight, though the soft close is a bit sluggish on pulling the drawer completely closed. Any suggestions on how to get it to close that last 1/8"?

I have a king size platform bed with large drawers underneath for storage. One day I decided to move the bed on my own. Unfortunately that was my first mistake, I had to take the frame apart because it is to heavy for me to lift and even after taking it apart it was still too heavy but rather than getting help, (second mistake) I decided to remove the drawers to make it even lighter. It's supposed to be easy, you slide this little piece of plastic up to unlock and pull off track to remove drawer. Well that part was easy. The hard part was getting the drawer back on the tracks when it was time to put it back under the bed. It never did line up right and after that the drawer became harder and harder to close. One day it came off the track and I could see the beads lining the track had fell out, and part of the track was bent and damaged, I guess from pulling and shoving it back in place. At this point it was unrepairable.I love the bed frame and didn't want to replace it so I ordered this product. I ordered the same size as the old track. I had my doubts but it was easy to install. I lined it up with the same screw holes as the old one and the drawer fits perfectly. No issues so far I even removed the drawer and put it back on track to make sure I could easily remove the drawer if needed.

The slides came when promised (in a rather large box for the small package size) in good shape.If you are not very mechanically inclined, you might struggle a bit with the installation b/c the directions are not very clear - all pictures without word descriptions. If you are simply replacing original slides, they are quite easy, on new construction they might be a bit more challenging. That said, I was replacing original slide so I found them easy to install though it took a bit longer than I expected (took about 30 minutes b/c I had to drill new holes in a couple places).The self-close works pretty much as expected, though you have to get the drawer a bit closer to closed than I expected before the mechanism takes over.I needed them on our trash/recycle drawer so they were installed on a rather heavy drawer, but they are constructed well and handle the weight quite nicely.I would recommend these slides.

I have finished installing my second set of 10 pair. The fit and finish of these slides is very good. As noted the screws sent are short. However it is possible to use up to a # 8 torx screw and still have the mechanism clear the screw heads. I do not usually read 5 star or 1 star reviews hence the four star. I'll ding for the small screws but so what. Installation instructions have never been a part of drawer slide purchases that I remember. So here's a couple of hints. when you take a set out of the box move the drawer part back and forth to understand how the self close pin works. You will probably have to set the self close mech in the forward position by hand when you put the drawer into place. I always build my drawers one inch and a small 1/16 undersize. It is easier to shim than to grind the drawer side down with a belt sander. The absolute best small shim for any project is asphalt roofing (tar paper). 15 # tar paper requires 3 pieces to make up 1/16 of an inch. It is not affected by water and tapered shims are a pita. As I stated all full extension drawer slides are very very width sensitive. spend the time and get it right normally slides last 12 plus years. To install the cabinet side of the slide in the carcass (the box all cabinets start with) cut a piece of plywood scrap to rest the top slide on. Mount both sides, then rip the scrap down to mount the next lowest slide set contine to the lowest drawer. The front of the drawer slide should be mounted a big 1/16 or an 1/8 back from the cabinet face. I just set this by eye. The soft close spring makes up any difference between sides. Back to the tar paper shim Cut pieces with a utility knife, if they are exposed at the end of the project trim them with the knife. For the slides I used a pair of scissors and notched my little squares. Then by backing out a screw I could wrap the shim around the screw and retighten. My drawers are always made of #2 pine then picked through so they are effectively clear. Router cut dovetails make them bomb proof. Some of my drawers are on their third set of sliders. I used 5/8 long screws from my blum stash, and where I needed big shims in the carcass I used some 1 1/4 torx screws. Your time is a long term investment here. Just did seven more and came up with a new move. All the above is still true. Mount the cabinet portions and one side onto the drawer. Say left side is on drawer, with the right side assembled (in cabinet) insert the drawer (slide on left and shim to height on right) and use a flashlight to see the gap between drawer and unattached side. That space is the exact space you need to shim. If the assembled, but not attached, slide comes out when you operate the drawer you need to belt sand the drawer narrowerer.
