Let it be known, if you have a mechanical speedo, you need the GPS speedo adapter. It works excellent, even in rural areas. All gauges function properly. Look and fit are clean and simple. I love em. It was the least expensive and best replacements for my busted up and cut up cluster. Let it be known that these aren't the cheapest option, but probably the least expensive overall! Great purchase!!!

Installed in my 1978 c10. Overall for me fitment was ok, had to do some modifications on the factory cluster backplate to make it fit right which included some cutting and sanding so be prepared to do a little bit of fitment work. I’m sure this will vary from truck to truck depending on factory gauge setup. I also needed to purchase the Glowshift GM HEI tach filter, NOT the Glowshift universal tach filter. (The universal will not work with hei distributors) also the gm electronic speed adapter, and the 1/2-14 to 1/8-27 temp sensor adapter to get all the gauges working correctly. (Not a deal breaker for me) I also had to purchase new mounting screws for the cluster bezel. (Also not a deal breaker, cost me 3$ at the hardware store). Now that everything is installed I am very happy with the product especially for the price. Gauges are accurate and look amazing. (Read the instructions on how to properly set up each gauge beforehand, this will save you some trouble) Would definitely purchase this again in the future.

It has been about 3/4 of a year since I made my purchase of the glowshift gauges for my 1989 R2500 suburban. Ever since that purchase, it has been an ongoing regret and just wishing I could get my money back and buy Dakota Digital or just have made the factory gauges work with my Cummins swap. The product is cheaply made, and the wiring instructions are a huge mess. Installation instructions are vague. The gauges bolt into the dash bezel they send you (which doesn’t even fit my model because of the radio) In order to fit their bezel in and bolt it in properly, you have to rip apart your original gauge cluster and cut into it so that you can still have your automatic shift indicator and your dash light for it. The gauges themselves are crap. They look pretty in the picture but are made of cheap plastic and the way you install them will damage them if you over tighten them. Extremely poor manufacturing design. And when the instructions do not even say to over tighten them, you the customer are to blame for damage you didn’t even know would happen. Also, the gauges brightness are not adjustable and are far too bright. Like I said, they look pretty in the pictures, not in person. Now onto customer service, the absolute most IRRITATING part of this whole review. I have been on countless phone calls with glowshift’s technical support. The last one leaving me the most irritation since I bought the product. Their warranty is absolutely awful. You think you get a year warranty, but it’s only one month. Anything after that with a product failing, there is nothing wrong with their product in their eyes. PRODUCTS CAN FAIL AFTER A MONTH GLOWSHIFT. The last call I had with them I told them the issue I was having with my oil pressure pegging out at 100. Oil pressure is just as essential as temperature, and when you can’t read oil pressure on a custom build, it is a very scary thing. The tech support person told me that I needed to do a voltage test on the sensor that is giving an intermittent problem. This is a stupid thought process on an electrical sensor that is giving an intermittent problem, as there is no accurate test for the sensor when the problem is intermittent. I would like a replacement sensor if he thinks the sensor is the issue, but with glowshift’s horrible customer support, there is no way I see this happening. I will probably not be doing this test. If my engine is to blow up due to lack of oil pressure, they will probably have a lawsuit on their handsGlowshift, in all honesty I want you to take this product off my hands and give me my money back. I am so fed up with this horrible product. In summary, do not buy this product under any circumstance. The gauges look pretty in the pictures, but dealing with them is horrible. Buy Dakota Digital. Their product actually works and they have good customer service from what I hear. Do NOT buy anything from Glowshift. If you can’t afford the Dakota, make your factory cluster work. It will be far more worth it in the long run. If you need an electronic speedometer, then run a 90-91 cluster that has one from factory.Glowshift, I ask you to make this right. And the only way you can make it right for me at this point is taking this horrible product off my hands and refunding my money.

Absolutely awesome looking and fitment was good, could have been better but I didn't have to do a whole lot to adjust screw holes. They were off by millimeters and caused screws to go at an angle. Bottom steering plate was a different story. That has an inch gap and drives me nuts. Other than that the gauges work flawless.
