DOA! Did not work. Mistake ordering open box. It had been used as it had grease on it!

OEM replacement part for a 02-06 Escalade. Suited my needs very well and works as it should. If you have an issue with the PRNDL readout on your dash being incorrect, this is probably your issue.

Fixed the fact that neutral "gear" was not indicated correctly on my dash cluster. Can be a challenge to get new part to seat properly on the shaft, but I suspect it's that way with all brands. To get the electrical connector off the old part, pull the locking tab, then slide the "locking pin" to the right with a screwdriver.

works well but be aware that the shaft that you go to it slide on has to be filed on the outer edge. The shaft often mushrooms out and will prevent THE switch from sliding on easily. If you force it on you WILL BREAK the NEW switch collar that goes around the shaft and if it is at all loose it will not work correctly This was not mentioned in the directions.

It really worked great. I was unable to start my vehicle without putting it in Neutral, I watched a youtube video and I was able to install it without any problem, Now I put the key in the ignition and it will start right away.the only thing it is missing a guide tap other models comes with it.

Fit and worked fine. The service manual literally states as part of some diagnostics with the neutral safety switch to get a new one and try it. In my case, it did not fix a problem I was having with the Park indicator on the instrument cluster, but I left it installed since the one I removed was so old.
