As the owner of 3 medium-long hair cats, I didn't really see huge results of decreased shedding. When I first ordered this shampoo, I applied it liberally to their top coat and along their undercoats to my best ability. I repeated this every 2-3 days. The shedding was indeed less noticeable maybe after a few weeks of this routine. Application is very simple, I use clean hands to backcomb and lather the product in, then use their pet brush to comb the fur back into the natural direction. It does dry a little bit "crunchy", similar to the texture of hairspray on human hair, but gradually does away over a few days. The smell is really nice and not over powering at all.

We've used so many different products and this is the best. Smells great & helps with deshedding. We spray him right down & within a week we notice substantial difference in his shedding.Prices went up but still worth it

I have three 2-year-old Huskies that were terribly shedding because spring and summer is here and I bought this item along with the furminator shampoo and conditioner and it has been an absolute lifesaver! I would never rate a product that I don't absolutely 100% stand behind but for me this stuff has been awesome! It makes a difference using the shampoo and conditioner as well and brushing but the spray smells wonderful and it leaves them feeling soft and silky as well as helps shedding. I have not picked up even a quarter of the hair since I have started this regimen with my dogs. I highly, highly recommend it to people with shedding dogs, but don't forget helping by brushing is still a necessity but not nearly as much as you would have to do without these items!

When trying a new product on my Labs, I am always cautious because my oldest Lab has skin issues. The first time I only allowed it to remain on the skin for about 3 minutes, about 1/3 of the time recommended. All three of my Labs did well, the product removed a massive amount of fur without any negative reactions. In fact, their coats look better and feel softer. Although I usually bathe them monthly, I only waited one week before bathed them again. I left the product on for 5-6 minutes and still removed a lot of fur. I waited another week and bathe them, leaving the conditioner on for 8 minutes, and you can see in the photo I still got handfuls of fur off of them. I use the small metal mesh cup to stop the fur from going down the drain. I know doing it this way may not give the best immediate results, but I would rather go slowly than have one of them have an allergic reaction.I did noticed that my Lab's coats seem to dry more quickly. It may be because they have less fur. When I brushed them each time after they dried, I did remove a lot more undercoat, however I am not vacuuming up nearly as much fur in my home.Also, instead of the FURminator shampoo, I used Best Shot Ultra Max Pro Pet was pleased with the results. I did buy some FURminator shampoo but will wait until next month to try that.

Bin sehr zufrieden es hat einen sehr angenehmen und langanhaltenden Duft .Das Fell von unseren Pudel lässt sich seit dem auch besser kämmen, es ist sehr ergiebig schon die kleinste menge reicht aus und unser Hund ist danach Duffte!Kann es nur weiterempfehlen und werde es immer wieder kaufen.

He is mostly pug, but is mixed with some other type of dog. He has/had a terrible shedding problem but this helped clear it up. I brushed his entire body before washing and got as much hair out as I could. This helps make the shampoo and conditioner work better and stops excess hair from clogging your drain. The directions recommend up to 10 minutes of letting the shampoo and conditioner soak in, but my dog hates taking baths as it is and getting him to stand still for a while was a problem. I coaxed him into cooperating but ripping up some cheese slices. I let the shampoo and conditioner sit for 10 minutes each and washed him thoroughly after words. I didn't notice much hair falling out while I was washing him, but I remained optimistic. I let him dry in the sun for a half hour and combed him once again. I got almost as much hair out as I did the first time. I let him finish drying all the way for inspected his fur afterward. I am very suprised at how well this actually works. Before I could grab any part of him and pull out (not actually pulling, basically removing the loose hair) 10-20 hairs. Now I can barely get one! It's been over a week now and the results are the same. The ingredients are all natural things and has no chemical smell to it. I am surprised that the itch relief shampoo works this well, it makes me wonder what the regular FURminator shampoo does.
