This is the first and only adjustable Front Seat Lift Kit by Ohio Diesel Parts compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU's that provides everything you need to modify the front seat into a higher more comfortable position. With the stock seat there is not much support under your knees and it can feel like you are sliding forward out of your seat. Our kit will allow you to gain approximately 1 Inch of average height overall and a slight recline back to give you a better vantage point and more support under your knees. Included are 4 rear discs, if you want 5/8 Inch of rise in the butt of the seat and more of a recline effect use only one disc under each rear bracket. If you want less recline and more height install two discs under each rear bracket. The front of the seat will lift 1.5 Inches and the back of the seat either 5/8 Inch or 1-1/4 Inch depending on how many of the rear spacers discs you use. Slight recline and added height makes a huge difference in comfort. Tested and verified this makes a much more comfortable riding experience for driver or passenger. This kit will lift either the driver or the passenger side. If you want to lift both seats, two kits are required. Upgraded longer bolts are included which a

INSTALLATION:

Compatible with all Jeep Wrangler JK & JKU model years 2007-2017.
Easy installation requires no special tools just a 19mm Socket, 18mm Socket, and Socket Ratchet. However a breaker bar or impact gun will make installation easier and is recommended to remove factory bolts but not necessary. Spacers install under front seat brackets; the taller 1.5” Tall round spacer installs under the front left bracket using the longer bolt and washer. The 1.5” Tall rectangular spacer installs under the front right bracket using the longer bolt and washer. The short 5/8” tall round spacers install under the rear brackets using the shorter bolts and washers. Bolts pass all the way through spacers and thread into place.

I’ve waited a long time to buy these for my Jeep and wow what a mistake. These are incredible. I only used one spacer in the rear to get more recline. It makes such a world of difference! I’m just shy of 6’ depending on the boots and I use cruise control a lot, these spacers make the leg room much more comfortable in every way. I will be recommending these to every Jeep owner I know. I used an impact gun for the bolts- it is possible to do it by hand but you will need a good breaker bar & get ready for a workout lol

I'm 6'2" And the front seat in my Jeep was give me leg and lower back pain, and installed this kit jumped right in to reposition the scene the wheel and could immediately feel the difference. The only thing I wish was different was instead of bolts it had some kind of stud to screw into the hole in the Jeep and then a nut to go on top. I fought with one bolt for a good hour but that's probably just me.

Super high quality metal plates. Was very impressed by the build quality and ease of installation. This is a must for any Jeep owner. Just be aware that if you are over 6ft tall do NOT use the rear shims. Only using the front drastically increases the angle and makes it way better on support. Using the rear shims will raise you up too much if you are taller. Follow the instructions as intended for the front and loosen the rear bolts (do not remove). Once the front shims and bolts are installed tighten down everything (front and rear). 5min job for both seats if you get 2 sets.

The passenger seat was too low for my wife. After using the kit, she sees out much better. Very solid solution

So it fits perfectly easy to install. I installed it with all the pucks for the maximum lift as I’m short and like to see over the nose of my vehicle, especially when wheeling as best I can and have had the lift on the seat of jeeps you know that funky pump handle this eliminates needing to use that and in the paperwork, they are explicitly clear about call them even if you wanna talk in the middle of the night they always have somebody available

I had completely forgotten that the front passenger seat of a Jeep Wrangler does not have the same adjustability as the driver's side. No pumper / eject handle. On long drives my wife found the passenger seat to become more and more uncomfortable as the miles raced by. She had started sitting on a folded up beach blanket which helped so we decided to give this seat lift kit a try. For reference, she's 5' 4"If you have an impact wrench and/or breaker bar to remove your existing bolts, this seat lift will be reasonably simple to install. If you only have a regular socket wrench, then you are not going to have a fun time breaking the original bolts loose. I used an impact wrench and had it all installed in about 5 minutes. When I installed the lift, I started with front spacers and just a single spacer on the back legs so we ended up with slightly more recline to the seat. After a short drive, the verdict was that this setup felt better than the stock seat. We then immediately added in the 2nd spacer for the rear legs and went for another test drive. Even better was the final verdict. With all the spacers installed, the seat is now higher than stock but maintains the stock recline angle. For us, this was exactly what helped make things more comfortable.Keep in mind that switching the setup to add or remove the recline involves loosening/removing the seat bolts and adding/removing the extra spacers. It's not something your passenger can do on the fly.

This is a very solid product and very easily installed. As I came from the world of European cars with exceptional seats, once the euphoria cleared up a bit after buying my JKUR I found that I needed to make some changes to the seat position in my Jeep. I easily found the rear seat reclining kits, but Ohio Diesel Parts seemed to be the only one that made them for the front seats.. which was odd, because I couldn't be the only one having these issues?Anyways, back to the product. The installation is simple, taking the average person about a half hour to unbolt the four bolts that hold the seat to the floorboard, placing the blocks in the right positions, and then gently re-attaching the seats to the floorboards with the lock washers and lift blocks in-place. The blocks provide for a slightly downward rear angle to the seat, which eliminates that feeling that I got of "falling forward" driving with the stock seating position. The only hesitation I would offer is that you are raising the overall height of the seat by 1" in the front and 1/2" in the rear, so make sure that before you order them you won't put yourself in a position that makes you feel like you are too high in the vehicle.Additionally, the shipping was immediately handled and the customer service was really good when I sent over a question. I hope that Ohio Diesel Parts continues to provide aftermarket parts for the Jeep market.
