We love our ice maker! It has a nice size of ice always ready! Ease of cleaning the machine. Noise level do hear it a lot but we live in a ranch style home. Usually only when dumping the ice we hear it. It taste great and works great! Great price for this convenient necessity!

Terrific purchase. I got tired of making ice the old way with trays in the freezer. This things just keeps making ice all day long. Highly recommend. Didn't get the color I thought I ordered but the machine is so good I don't care. Excellent buy.

Awesome ice maker, use it all the time. Doesnt keep it cold after it dispenses the ice so need to use it or bag it up and put in freezer cuz it will melt. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it's also very easy to drain and keep clean afterwards. I don't shut the lit completely after use so it dries out for a bit.

Very dependable, better than I expected. Continuously makes ice cubes until the basket is full. It makes two sizes small and large and it’s very quiet, you only hear a little noise when the ice is being dropped into the basket. Comes with an ice scoop. Personally, when the basket is full, I put them in Ziploc bags and stock up on them. I use a lot of ice cubes.. definitely recommend..

Our fridge's ice maker went out and we were desperate. I bought this little unit about a month ago and it is an absolute workhorse! It's just great. While it's just the two of us in the house, this made plenty of ice for about a day and a half. Because I always seem to be in the kitchen cooking, it's easy for me to empty the little container of ice into our "broken" ice maker and let the Frigidaire make more. I could see how families with children could even use this to help supplement their ice needs for parties or large dinners. This ice can easily be bagged and slipped into the freezer for use later. This unit is just terrific! We are getting our ice maker replaced, but we're gonna keep this little unit. Our grown kids have seen it and love it. They wanna use it, too!

This ice maker shocked me. Its cute and works really well. Its makes ice in like 8-10 mins really quick. Its easy to operate and comes with a scoop.Its does make a little noise but nothing annoying. Only thing they sent wrong color but its not gonna be out all the time so no big deal. I would recommend this product.

I bought this one (because it is red!!) after I bought one from Costco and decided to get one for my office. The thing that sucked was it wouldn’t make ice at all. It kept saying it was out of water even when the basin is full. I spent several days and a ton of time researching the issue and decided to fix it myself. There was a problem with either the water line or the sensor. It now works great but I couldn’t get the case back on perfectly and now one side is sticking out a bit. Outside of that this little ice maker works fast makes a ton of ice and is better than the one in my fridge. A word of warning DO NOT PUT THE ICE TRAY IN THE DISHWASHER! I did this and the stupid thing warped and shrank up. Also the ice scope sucks. I bought a metal one that has a round tip and it is some much better. The scope that comes with the machine barely gets any ice and ends up knocking more out of the tray than getting it in the scope.

Great little machine. Starts making ice within 7-10 minutes. Machine is a nice, compact size which makes it great for the counter. Quiet with the exception of a little noise when ice drops into holding container.

UPDATE as of July 2020 -We ended up having to move last year, so only used this ice maker for about two months before packing it back up in its original packaging for a local move. It didn't get UNpacked until three months ago. We plugged it back in, ran a few rounds of lemon water through it to clean out the tubes, and got it going. Things seemed fine. It wasn't even as noisy as it was before. We only use bottled water in it, as our area has pretty hard water. But then last week, it suddenly decided it wasn't going to make ice any more. It was giving us the "add water" error message, even though it was full. We tried turning it off and back on several times. We also completely unplugged it, hoping that might reset whatever had gone wrong.Nope.Dead ice maker.So, we got LESS THAN SIX MONTHS' use from this ice maker. I don't know if it was just a lemon (you can read my original review...it never sounded right, and I never got a response from Frigidaire), or if this company makes extra-cheap machines. I am beyond disappointed in this. I need an ice maker and now can't afford to replace this one, with so little use on it.Not happy.------------ORIGINAL REVIEW -We've had two other ice machines over the last decade. We keep this upstairs. I am partially disabled and don't have the mobility to run to the kitchen fridge. These machines help me have cold drinks and fill ice bags.I love the color on this one. We've not had the Frigidare brand before, but most of these portable ice makers are the same and just have a different label slapped on them. It is pictured in the photo (decal was ours, they do not come thay way).This is making ice ok for now, but I am SERIOUSLY concerned about how long it will last! We have NEVER had one that sounded like it was on its last leg, gasping and grunting to get the water up into the freezing compartment! It grunts and grinds so loudly, it makes the overflow tray on our keurig coffee maker (maybe 1-1/2 to 2 feet from the ice maker) shake! It is like a mini earthquake when it pumps water up! I KNOW this is not normal. At first, we thought the coffee pot was dying and grunting, as we listened from the other room. Nope...it was this ice maker.I would like to see either the seller or manufacturer step up and replace this machine for us. We bought it new, not a refurb. Very disappointed in this unit so far. But I can no longer afford to just get a different one. 😓
