The sheet metal is thick and heavy gauge - it is sized to hold the 2 tanks well without any issue. I used self tapping sheet metal screws to attach to the trailer frame- these are readily available at any hardware store- the holes on the base align well with the trailer frame.

We added this to our tent trailer so we could carry 2 tanks. 1 for cooking and 1 for the fire pit. Mounted in easily and keeps the tanks secure on every road we have travelled so far.

Way to install. Mine is at a slight angle due to the RV frame, but holds both tanks very secure to my camper. Easy to use. Solid design.

Wanted to replace my single tank unit on my RV. This did the trick and was extremely easy to install. For reference, I have a Forest River Salem FSX178.

I purchased this so I would have two tanks instead of one! I followed the directions and it worked out great (screws not included) but I watched an utube video so I knew what I was in for! The only problem I ran into was the hose! I had to purchase another hose and fittings to make it work! But it’s not rocket science!

My Starcraft trailer came with a laughably poor mount for a 30lb single. Two 10mm bolts through a rail and the tank's bottom ring and no upper support; could probably wrench it off by hand much less bumping down a rough road. The 2 x 20lb mount fit across the tongue rails, the stock holes are generous but of course didn't line up with the trailer, but it was easy to drill the base to match the trailer rails and bolt it in place. Now you can rock the trailer without shifting the tanks at all, plus a bit more LP capacity for minimal weight gain.

The product did not include the rod as shown in pic...had to go pick one up from Home Depot and cut it ourselves...but other than that...it worked great for our Camper...

Just what we needed for our outdoor application. Easy hook up and release. keeps the tanks off the ground. We use it under a dual cover and all fits well.

Purchased a 1988 Starcraft Starmate popup. Just a little bumper tow camper, about 1000#. It came with the basic one LP cylinder provision, and I wanted more capacity for our to-be camping adventures. I wanted something that was steel and good quality, that I could remove its current LP provisions and replace entirely. This seems to have done the trick.I cut off the original two-strap L iron base and sanded down the mounting location. I then flapper wheeled the paint off the adjoining locations on this item and was able to 1:1 weld this in place of the old. A shot of gloss black Rustolium and you cant tell it wasn't there originally. Its low enough profile it wont interfere with the bunk slide-out with a dual tank cover, and it seems to be pretty sturdy. I'll update as time goes, but I dont see having any issue. Would recommend.
