Assembly required, but not difficult. Good quality. Sturdy.

This fire pit cover was exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly and keeps the little ashes from flying up into the sky. It was difficult to build though because it came in 4 wedges and you needed multiple screws to attach each wedge. Its kind of difficult to hold while putting together. Definitely a 2 person job.

Flimsy rod. Needs mounting since it arrives like bunched pizza slices. Great replacement for fire pits

This Fire Pit Screen was exactly as advertised and is of very high quality and very sturdy. I was very easy to assemble and it fit perfectly as a replacement of my old rusted, burned out screen. I highly recommend this screen. You will not be disappointed.

The pros: Seems solidly made. I didn't have my wife stand on it, but it is much stronger than the screen it is replacing. The material is supposed to be stainless steel. Time will tell. I will update this if it rusts. The cons: The sections do not easily line up, making assembly difficult. I finally made a jig and was able to align the outer edges - but this easily took a couple of hours to assemble; and I am not a novice with tools! If you don't care if the outer edges are off by a quarter inch, you might be able to put this together in 30 minutes.

Cage fits fine, and it's durable enough. Only thing is that during the first use, the paint coat would bubble up, catch on fire and plume black smoke. Now it's been a month and it's rusty. Almost wondering if seasoning it like castiron would make it better. If you're just looking for a functional fire cage, this works, but if you want a long-lasting aesthetic, look further.

People are right - this can be a pain to put together on your own. The thin edges where you need to screw the shields together leave barely any room for your hands or the tools. It took me about a half hour, but I still think it’s a decent quality shield for the price. It looks good and fits my fire pit perfectly. I would buy it again.
