This does not provide enough resistance for mtb training - it might work well as a warmup trainer for road bikes, but that is not why I wanted it. It's also expensive for what it provides, and has no capability to be used with Zwift or other such services.

I am absolutely satisfied with my trainer! I use it quite often since my time to actually ride in the streets can get limited. Just make sure you put this on a nice flat, balanced surface! :) ride on!!!!

I have to "gray rollers" NO resistance model. This model is great for warmups on your track bike, especially if you need to do revouts. Because it clamps the front fork, it is much, much easier to reach and hold a high cadence than it is with regular rollers. Another nice thing is that the thing folds up nicely and fits in it's carry bag with no issues. Very compact.

This is a great product! The only reason it has 4 instead of 5 is because it has limited use, you cannot adjust any resistance on it and even when I have my hardest gear on, it is still just like spinning for warm up or cool down. But, I love the convenience of it and that it is way easier on my frame and tire than those other rear lock in trainers. If I could give 4.5 I would.

I won several Masters Track National Championships warming up with this unit. It's stable and easy to use. Although it has not added resistance, the resistance that occurs naturally is just right for warming up on. Also, it's the only trainer I have been able to carry on a plane and place in the overhead bins! Love this thing!

This is a great product if you just want to spin up those legs on bad weather days. Resistance is constant and I have to run highest gear on my road bike 25 - 32 mph to get a good workout, but it does work you out. (FYI: am a relatively new cyclist with an FTP of 160W.) This is a very good product and I don't mean to take away from what it is designed to do, but if you are a serious or think you will be a serious cyclist, buy a Smart Trainer such as CycleOps Hammer. I plan to keep this in case I travel with my bike and just want some spinning time.

Functional, easy to use, space-saving. It held up fine with 250w threshold efforts and it was relatively quiet.
