works ok, but didn't last very long, it's flimsy metal, and after a few uses the top came unsodered, and that happened on three of them within 3 wks of use!

Pretty small. Flimsy. Twists all the ti.e so it's hard to use. Spend the money and get a better one.

I cannot say anything about using this for snakes, except that it does seem appropriate for only fairly small snakes. I bought the snake catcher because I buy quite a number of half-gallon cartons of Silk unsweetened soy milk at the grocery store at a time, and quite often I want to get cartons so far back in the display case that my arm isn't long enough. (The Silk cartons are on a special mat that is somewhat slippery, and on a little bit of an angle, but the cartons don't slide forward of their own accord.) Nowadays I simply pull the snake catcher out of my purse, extend it, and then I can catch the hook of the catcher on the top of the Silk carton and gently scooch the carton forward. Yesterday I bought 11 cartons of soy milk--the snake catcher enabled me to reach that far back in the dairy case!! I'll be keeping this tool in my purse, and I expect to be able to use it regularly for my soy milk, and maybe on other grocery items when there's just one left at the back of the shelf. [As of this writing, in Feb 2022, there are so many supply shortages. . . ] [Edited on 6/29/22 to add: I used it approximately 5 times yesterday at Meijer grocery store! I have two of them now. One is always in my purse, and the other is in my grocery-list kit.]

This is for the TINIEST and I mean TINIEST snake. Its EXTREMELY flimsy and not well made.I wouldn't even suggest using it on a full grown corn snake that's how weak it is.

Really small. Seen bigger and cheaper in petsmart.
