The actual machine does what it’s made to do. espresso drinks. The coffee comes out great, if the machine actually works. So, if you are wondering if you will get your machine fixed with in the one year warranty, good luck ! I’ve had the espresso machine for 6 months and it started to leak water from the inside of the machine and not from the portafilter. Well, I contacted them and one guy emailed back asking for a video, so I sent the video. Month goes by no response. Sent a different email to another person, their response was to purchase a new portafilter.. I replied saying that the water doesn’t even touch that filter and that it has internal issues and I get no response. I even tried calling, left a message asking if they can send me the parts and I would fix it my self. NO RESPONSE! This machine was supposed to have a 1 year manufacturing warranty, and obviously something inside is broken. They are avoiding me like a plague. I’m going to try to fix this myself and I will NEVER purchase anything from this place ever again and neither will my family members, nor will my friends. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review on any product that I’ve ever purchased, because they don’t care about anything or anyone but your money.The actual machine looks good, made me great espresso drinks ( which I haven’t been able to have in a few months). Kinda loud, but I figured that they all are. You have to clean it we’ll constantly, which makes sense. That’s all I have for you new purchasers and hope you take all of that into consideration before buying!

This is my first time purchasing an Espresso Machine as a result I was looking at the reviews between this one (what I wanted) and a Mr. Coffee machine. I almost elected Mr. Coffee until I remembered that the internet reviews are very harsh so I purchased this item.I'm going to address of the things that I was concerned about, for this machine that almost made me go with Mr CoffeeDoes it Get Hot?I like hot coffee and cold, lukewarm coffee would be a major disappointment. The "Coffee" portion of the machine does get hot. The issue with this machine is that the milk frother, froth's milk, so when you make a Latte (only thing I've been making) it pours in froth milk (cold) into hot water and thereby cooling the "hot coffee". As one of the other reviewers mention they do, I just throw it into the microwave. Its an extra step but now I have a hot Latte.Does it leak?I only experienced a leak because I didn't dump the removable drip tray. Some may have had a faulty unit but if you don't dump the drip tray it will overflow and leak.Spoiled Milk SmellI haven't experienced this but the way I suspect this can occur if you never run the very simple clean cycle. Dried milk is starting to form at the end of the milk dispenser nasal. I would recommend purchasing or having some cleaning brushes on hand. Also I suspect if you leave the milk in the container and don't detach and store it in the fridge.Is it easy to cleanYes! Super super easy.What I doWell I'm reading the manual because this is a luxury purchase for me. I'm buying bottled water (SmartWater) and using that exclusively in the machine because there's no telling what's in tap water and I want to ensure 1) I have great tasting coffee 2) this luxury purchase of mine last for a while.What i wishI wish it made larger cups of espresso. I know its a single cup for at home use but I have to make 3-4 cups per coffee drinking session.Great product. Glad I didn't let the reviews get to them. Worst case you return it to amazon and buy a different product. If this is your 1st go at a home espresso machine give it a shot. Its cute and simple. Easy to clean.

Me pareció un buen regalo para alguien que quiere iniciarse en la preparación de otros tipos de cafés, aparte del americano. Es un equipo agradable a la vista, quizá su durabilidad no sea eterna, pero el objetivo también es el de aprender a manejarlo y preparar buenos cafés. Sugiero que manden instructivo en otros idiomas además del inglés. Por correo muy atentamente respondieron en español que carecían de este folleto traducido. Parece qeu atención al cliente es buena la marca. Probaremos.

over a year now I thought I should update this review:This is STILL the best machine we've ever used for latte's, espresso, cappuccino's, etc. With a lot of experimenting I have mastered the best latte's & Cappuccino's, etc. be creative! I don't use the glasses except for using them for espresso only. Use bigger cups and use a little warmed milk before using machine to do some frothing and foaming. The glasses are cool to look at layers but not much actual drink so I use large coffee cups. This is the third espresso, latte, cappuccino machine we've had. This one (SO FAR) is the best. Now, we've only had it 5 days but have made a dozen + drinks. The Keurig we had was easy to use and made great drinks, however, you had to buy pods from them (very expensive ). also, the Keurig started breaking down, then the company discontinued it w/out telling anyone, and mostly, way to expensive. It was a gift as I would not have spent $400 for one. The AIcook we had at only $125 was great, it had its flaws, but only lasted a year, and to be fair, it was our fault for not cleaning it enough.This machine is very easy to use, makes fantastic drinks, and at $249 beats out the $400 Keurig in every way. The key to this machine to work nicely for a long time is make sure you clean it after every use. Now, that doesn't mean you have to clean it after every cup, but, if your'e not making another for an hour or more i suggest you take the time to rinse out milk frother put clean water in, and, hit the clean button (make sure you have a cup to catch water). Wipe everything down, etc. One review said it leaked on bottom. after 1st use I noticed water under machine in front and was worried, at first, but as it turns out it was that i made 3 lattes & ran a clean cycle & it was the overflow container on bottom that overflowed. That's an easy fix, dump it and reinsert it if making 3 or more lattes at once. A clean machine is a happy machine. I hope I'm not giving this a great rating to soon.... we'll see. UPDATE a couple years in and it was still the best! unfortunately Hurricane IAN decided he wanted it to himself (like everything else in the house) and made it unusable
