  • Size: 1 1/2” long x 3/4” wide | 1/4” shank.
  • The fine-weave cotton of this tapered buff works faster than conventional felt bobs and also lasts longer.
  • Mounted on 1/4" shank for use with electric drill. Use with polishing compounds.
  • To apply polishing compounds, simply spin the buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.


Felt bobs are great for getting into hard-to-reach areas. They are made of compressed wool fibers and work with all compounds.

The cone is fairly small.After using it, I realized I needed a more pointed cone for my wheels. It is stiff enough that it won't conform to the narrow areas.Before I was finished the 4th wheel, it was worn to the metal shaft which was marking the aluminum wheels.I finished the last wheel by putting on a cotton glove (with a disposable vinyl glove underneath) dipped in wheel cleaner. Using a single finger to rub off the brake dust proved to be easier than the cone was.
