Concidering the price this is a great endoscope that is easy to use and great for occasional use or I suppose an economical solution for high usage if you find yourself damaging the higher end ones too often;) This is a VIEWER only. The biggest missing feature on this unit for some would be no picture taking or video ability. Which means if you want to show someone- they need to be there when you see it. Some areas are so difficult to get to -forget doing it twice. This is great for pipes, vehicle repairs, exploring mouse holes, lol, but seriously have found mouse nests in a car and under a fridge with one of these before. They are great for getting a look at anything you really want or need to know more about in tiny places!! Great to have on hand because when you need one you want it right now!! I definitely recommend for home use personal use and for first endoscope! If you are dealing with clients I like to have footage or pictures to show them whats really going on always! Its NICE to really know whats going on, it's Fabulous to be able to prove it, share it, and study what's going on & possibly even notice other issues in playback. At this price point- this is a great value and has the ability for you to see what your trying to see now. It may be frustrating to get the distance right to focus figure out what side is up , but you will get there and see what you want with a bit of patience 😉. The screen is easy to hold it has a thicker side that's easy to hold. But if you are going far.. for even easier use get a clamp stand that you can use both hands for the camera lead -to guide it. It hard to do it allHolding and guiding while also looking at the screen.- this is the same with every one of these - they are lightweight .. you really need something to keep it still- the screen is light and the lead is stiff and it wants to follow the line .. Overall this is durable in my testing snaking all around an engine bay looking for leaks...and up the exhaust system looking for holes and loose catalyst chunks. Light is good I could see well with minor adjustments and going slow. If you can get within the focus range you will see great. If you can not get close enough you can't zoom , or focus on something 4+ inches away. So concider your useage and if the limitations are acceptable for your use! If you need to know what side is up this may not be the one for you. For the most part I got this so I don't pull out my more expensive recording one when it's NOT work-more for curiosity and play..or im looking somewhere I might lose or damage my $$$endo... or if someone else asks to use it😉

The first use of this Endoscope with Camera and Light came the day after I unboxed it in front of my husband. "Where's that endoscope?" he came asking. Apparently, he thought that something of value (to him) may have fallen in the crack of the couch and it had been bugging him for weeks. I guess he made the connection between his need to find what's in the couch and our new and exciting "tool" so he went to work. He had not read the instructions, but said that this device was so easy to operate, that he didn't actually need to read them. He's a typical guy in that regard, but his comment bodes very well for this tool's ease of use.Hubby found many things. He even showed me photos of them. However, he didn't see what he wanted. He did report that this tool gave him the confidence that he's now certain that his missing item clearly can't be in the couch.I actually ordered this WELL MADE, EASY TO USE tool to support one of my hobbies / passions. We live on rural acreage and, over the past few years, have added over 60 Bluebird nesting boxes (bird houses) to our property. I'm a wildlife photographer, and I love to film the birds as they move through courtship during which they choose "just the right" house, mating, incubating and then raising their broods. The traditionalists who operate a "Bluebird Trail" suggest routine inspections of the nest, eggs, chicks etc... Most birdhouses have doors that open to allow access. But, I've always felt better keeping a distance and looking from afar to give the birds their peace and space. I've used a lesser version of an endoscope in the past, but I gave up on it for lack of quality images and other physical challenges associated with the task.THIS ENDOSCOPE with the light and camera is far superior to what I've used in the past and I'm very excited to use it for this coming Birding season. I've read the instructions (which are clear and comprehensive) and I've been practicing with it in preparation. I'm very impressed with its easy of use and its versatility. I have actually used it in applications I had never thought about.Just FYI, while the product title / description says "Gadgets for Men" I can attest to the fact that women will find using this product quite useful, too!
