The ELO Vagabond is making a wave in the world of mobile gaming. This lightweight controller has completely revolutionized how phone and tablet games can be played. The buttons are very responsive and the set-up of the controller with the app is easy to navigate. It feels like holding an Xbox or Switch Pro controller, which is far more comfortable than many other mobile gaming controllers. One of the major benefits of the Vagabond is that it can be used with a case on. It can be concerning to take off your phone case and worry about dropping your phone when connecting the phone to the controller, but the Vagabond solves this issue and works with a large variety of phone cases. The price is very fair for the quality and design of the controller. If you want a long lasting mobile gaming controller that looks and feels amazing, the ELO Vagabond is highly recommended.

I went with this controller over the Kishi Ultra because this has back buttons, analog sticks and was a little cheaper. I figured I’d give it a shot. This thing feels very premium. It feels like a high end controller because it is. It is light and fits my iPad mini and my iPhone. I only need to swap out one of the inner pads when switching. It is excellent though not perfect. The iOS app needs some work, but the developer seems to be dedicated to improving it.I recommend this especially if you have a phone and iPad mini. It works great with both. The packaging is beautiful. It is very clear they put a lot of effort into it.The lights are the sticks are cool. These can be dimmed or turned off. I’d like the option to change the color. I’ve seen it turn red when the controller was not fully in or something, so there is definitely a red light in there. I’d like to change it to red all the time.I fully recommend this controller. I’m excited to see the app updates and gadgets they will make in the future.

Plug 'n' play worked right away. The construction of this controller does not feel as solid as the GameSir G8+, which is unfortunate when it's double the price. The controller body feels like cheap plastic, and the left side creaks when squeezing. It does not come with magnetic plates or include extra analogs like the G8+ either. It does come with a bunch of rubber adapters to help fit different phones. Even with these, it doesn't seem to fit the Pixel phones quite as well as I'd like, but I might just have to try different adapters. The LEDs are nice and just so happen to be my favorite color. The analog sticks feel good, however the grip material is too rough to the point that it begins to hurt to use after a while. The triggers feel slightly more responsive than the G8+ which is good. The back paddles have locking switches in case you don't want to accidentally press them. The d-pad is nicer than the G8+ as well, though still not perfect. It's a little too small and feels like it might be a bit too easy to accidentally press diagonals (actually you can see this yourself if you test the calibration: pressing very firmly on the down input will also press left, though you have to press pretty hard).I really wish the construction was better, but I'll probably stick with it since it works fine all things considered.

I’ve been using the Vagabond Mobile Gaming Controller with my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and it has completely elevated my gaming experience. I primarily use it to play Black Ops 6, Smite, and Fortnite on NVIDIA GeForce cloud gaming, as well as games on Xbox Game Pass, and it delivers a seamless, console-like performance. The controller is very comfortable to hold, even for extended gaming sessions, and the hall sensor joysticks are precise and responsive, making gameplay feel smooth and intuitive. Pairing it with my phone via USB-C was quick and hassle-free, and the fit with my device feels secure and well-balanced.The build quality is excellent, and the buttons and triggers have a satisfying, tactile feel that enhances the overall experience. Using this controller with my Note 20 Ultra has truly turned it into a portable gaming console. As a bonus, I’ve been using the Foluck 3-in-1 Accessories Set Compatible with PlayStation Portal as a case for my controller and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Since my Galaxy is an extra phone dedicated to cloud gaming (my main phone is the iPhone 15 Pro Max), the case has been super handy for storing and protecting the controller and phone together. If you’re into cloud gaming on platforms like GeForce or Xbox Game Pass and looking for a high-quality controller for your mobile device, I’d highly recommend the Vagabond Mobile Gaming Controller.
