Liked everything about it. Only thing I didn’t like is having to carry it around in a box. There should be a carry case the purchaser can buy.

My husband is legally blind. He basically sees shadows (on a good day) and sees everything in grayscale...no colors. The equipment we usually purchase for him to be able to read is VERY expensive, VERY large, cumbersome, difficult to transport and limited in their success. I was determined to find a better option....and I found this. It is very portable, has a huge range of magnification, and has crystal clear imaging....to the point that he can even read the engraving on his metal tools. He hooks it up to a smart tv and is able to read the fine print directions...you know, the directions printed so small that even those of us with 20/20 vision can't see. It boots up quicker than his adaptive enlarger (thousands of dollars and definitely NOT portable), and generally is more visually clear. He is thrilled! Honestly, I do not know if he would be able to hook it up directly to his computer to be able to read websites, emails, etc., although I really need to investigate that for him. (Does anyone here know?) But just enlarging objects or hard-copy printed material has been a real game-changer. It has save us thousands of dollars in equipment and offers him a much better result.

The Elmo brand document camera is perfect for our use. We teach online classes and this allows us to show the students online and those in the classroom live demonstrations. The zoom feature helps bring clarity quickly. We are still learning to take advantage of the many other excellent features this camera offers.

The ELMOs do not play well with the BenQ board I have in my classroom, so I bought this gem. Very nice document camera and am very happy. I am familiar with this brand, so it was easy to use for me. A little pricey, but anything for my students.

Had to have tech work on this setup for nearly 2 hours. Install of compatible software was a mess and website is not user friendly. You’ll need cords. All it comes with is a power cord.
