Review for the ELEGRP Digital Dimmer SwitchI recently purchased the ELEGRP Digital Dimmer Switch, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. This dimmer switch is designed to handle up to 300W for LED and CFL bulbs, and 600W for incandescent and halogen bulbs, making it versatile for a variety of lighting setups in my home.Installation: First and foremost, I was impressed with how easy it was to install. The instructions were clear and concise, guiding me through each step. Even as someone who doesn’t consider themselves particularly handy, I was able to set it up without any external help. The switch fits in standard wall boxes, and the included wall plate adds a nice touch to the overall look.Performance: Once installed, the performance of the dimmer switch has been outstanding. The sliding mechanism is smooth and responsive, allowing me to adjust the brightness precisely to suit different occasions, whether I’m hosting a dinner party or enjoying a cozy movie night. The frameless design lends it a modern aesthetic that blends seamlessly with my other fixtures—no bulky edges or outdated looks here.Usability: One point to note is to be mindful of not exceeding the specified wattage limits. During my initial use, I did a quick check on the load and ensured that it was within the recommended parameters. It functions beautifully as long as you adhere to the guidelines provided, which I found quite accessible.Design: The matte black finish not only looks sophisticated but also adds a touch of elegance to my living space. It feels sturdy and well-built, which gives me confidence in its durability long-term.Conclusion: Overall, I highly recommend the ELEGRP Digital Dimmer Switch for anyone looking to enhance their lighting experience. It’s easy to install, works effectively, and offers adjustable brightness that can really change the mood of a room. Just remember to keep an eye on the wattage limits to ensure optimal performance. This switch is definitely a worthwhile investment for both functionality and style!

Easiest installation I have ever done. Slim design requires minimal space in electrical box. Detailed written instructions, and labels on switch further guide wiring for either single switch installation or 3-way. Wires insert in holes with no need to wrap around screws (big plus). Also great is wall plate design hides the screws! Not seen that before.

I like the fact this dimmer doesn't require a third neutral wire. The dimmer light range is pretty good and you have the option to trim the low end of the dimmer. The only reason that I didn't give it a five stars is that the outer face plate is bit small. If your outlet box opening hole is slightly larger, it can't cover the opening completely. Also, I really didn't like the two small openings on the top used for prying the face plate off, makes it look like something has broken off.

I installed this in a bedroom of my old-construction house to control the overhead light. I read the instructions the night before I installed it, just to get familiar. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. When installing, I was happy to see that the bulk of the switch didn't go too far back into the junction box, because old homes like mine have fairly shallow junction boxes. I was able to quickly wire it up and push my wires to the back of the box. The switch sits flat in the junction box and I screwed it in. Easy peasy. Then, I took the toggle switch mechanism off, to adjust the dimming amount. This is a very nice feature! There's also a switch to accommodate different types of light bulbs- incandescent, halogen and LED. I had installed dimmable LED lights. I popped the toggle switch back on and was pleased to notice that everything fit together perfectly with no wiggle. Installed the clear plastic face plate holder and then popped the face plate on. In my handling of the switch, taking the parts on and off, I can tell that it's made well. It looks fantastic! I flipped the switch and slid the dimmer up and down. It lights perfectly and after using it for over a week, I can happily report that there's no flicker! It works perfectly! Overall, I'd say this is a great dimmer switch for your money. Very DIY friendly. One last thing- I originally tried some regular non-dimmable LED lights; the ones that were already in the overhead. Yes, they dimmed, but they flickered. I quickly ordered some DIMMABLE LED lights, installed them ASAP and I've seen not a single flicker since then. Just smooth dimming and brightening. So, make sure you use bulbs that are marked as dimmable and you're in good shape.
