This is a good fence for the price point. I did not purchase anything to electrify the fence. The material is fairly strong. The spacing in the grids is too large to contain smaller animals like chicks or bantams. I have larger chickens, ducks and a few bantams. The bantams have not tried to escape, but they could fit through the fence if they tried. My one complaint is that I wish there were more posts included. The spacing in-between the posts is large and the fence tend to sag. I will probably just purchase a few extra posts to remedy that. Also, my first order got lost in the mail and the company send me a replacement right away without any hassle.

I decided to gamble and try this product instead of the more expensive options. I have sheep and they do not tend to push the limits of a barrier very much however, I feel like when they do this product will do very well at keeping them contained.

Not suitable for chickens since full size chickens can go right through the bottom netting. It also did not conduct an ample shock even with a 1.5J plug-in energizer. Returned since I wanted it specifically for chickens. The company responded about my concern and pointed out a picture that shows not for chickens but I contend it shouldn't be called poultry netting.

This is a really nice electric fence, it works well for chickens and ducks. However, my geese would shred this in no time, they destroyed a bunch of my electric netting already, so I'm not using this for the geese. I wish our sheep would respect netting fencing, they definitely don't - they just run into the posts and bend / break them and wander off. I have no idea why my sheep are like that, but I'm so jealous of others here that can use this for sheep! I am not sure how long the fiberglass poles will last, I had a set last year that died in less than 3 months because in a snow storm a lot of snow attached itself to the netting and weighed it down so much (it kept on freezing and didn't melt) and due to the high winds, weight of the snow/ice and low temperature these fiberglass poles just bend and broke! So I'm hoping these ones will hold up better, and I'll also not be using them in winter for that reason. Good fencing though and works with both our solar fence and the wired fence charger as well!

This fence is easy to set up. I wish it was a bit less tangled out of the box. Once we spread it out it was fast to drive into the softer ground we have. It keeps our chickens in their run, and keeps livestock and predators form messing with the fence. I'll be sure to update this on the longevity. But for now its had weeks in the elements and it holding up fine.

Not poultry netting. Hole dimensions in ad are not accurate and neither is the first photo showing smaller holes at the bottom and larger holes at the top.

When the electric fence netting arrived, the first thing I noticed was how compact and organized it was packed, which made handling it a lot easier than I expected for something this size. At 164 feet long and almost 50 inches high, it’s got plenty of coverage for my needs. The quality of the netting and the poles felt sturdy right out of the box, and everything looked well-made.Setting it up was surprisingly straightforward. I’ve dealt with the older style of electric fences before, and I always had a hard time keeping the posts steady. That’s not an issue with this one. The 14 double barbed poles really anchor it into the ground well, even on uneven areas of my property. I was able to get it all in place without too much hassle, which I definitely appreciated. I’ve been using it mainly for my chickens, and it’s worked great for keeping them safely contained. The size is just right and easy to manage. One of the things I like most is how portable it is. I can move it around when I need to without it turning into a big project. It gives me a lot more flexibility than the old traditional setups. The fence works just like I need it to and seems to be doing the job well.So far, I’m pleased with the functionality and the quality of this fence netting. It’s made managing the flock a little less of a headache, and that’s a win in my book.

I don't recommend this fence. For starters, the excess ends for the hot wires are just thrown at the end, left dangling from the top. Other fences brade the excess hot wire and keep things neat, so this is not the norm. The fence seems kind of durable, but sags and really needs corner posts for stability. It wasn't difficult to put up, similar to other net fencing, it was pretty tangled in the box, but once straightened out, it went up fast.Definitely designed for larger animals, we're using it to keep deer out of the garden, but would not work for my chickens due to being too large at the bottom.I wouldn't buy this again. I just think they could've made this a great product, but the laziness of the hotwire ends turns me away. I'm going to stick to what I know works on our farm for a little more money.
