I issue this water valve to solve the issue with the ice maker not making ice. I suspected the solenoid on the water valve that delivers water to the ice maker was faulty. Replace it with the new valve and problem solve. Refrigerator making ice and water dispensing to the refrigerator door.

We have a 2004 fridge and the icemaker wasn't working. Our repairman suggested buying the part from Ebay. We saved a great deal of money. We are so excited to have the icemaker making ice again! No more ice trays! Yeah!

The original filter housing was leaking on my refrigerator, and replacements were discontinued. I removed the housing, and rerouted the lines to a universal inline filter. Removing the lines from the original valve rendered it useless, so this replacement solved that. Refrigerator water and ice dispensers work great again.
