TEST/SILENCE FUNCTION
With an easy-to-press test/silence button, you can manually test the alarm to ensure everything is working properly or temporarily silence any annoying false alarms.

This was a great purchase. I bought it to keep the family safe and I believe these detector will do the job. They are loud for how small they are. I have had them for a while and yest have had to replace the batteries. They work great even though I hope to never have it actually alert us. It definitely puts my mind at ease. It was a great buy!

I was happy to find a reasonably priced multipack of carbon monoxide detectors as I was told it’s best to place two in my home. They included batteries, were easy to install and have test buttons to check function. Everything you need . Arrived on time so I could get it all taken care of quickly!

Good price. Easy to install with 2 mounting screws but difficult to remove the back (to remove tab that allows batteries to connect) without something to press a small tab - but that doesn't affect my rating. However inconsistent product information - the website states a 7 year life from the date of power-up - the box states a 10 year product life. Which is correct?
