The Eagle plunger safety can is used to safely store, transport, and dispense flammable liquids and has a pump assembly with a dasher plate and a flame arrestor. The dasher plate dispenses a small amount of liquid when pushed, enabling the user to moisten a sponge or rag for cleaning. The flame arrestor helps prevent liquids inside the can from igniting and keeps flames from spreading. The can is made of polyethylene, which weighs less than steel and is resistant to dents, heat, and certain chemicals. The pump and flame arrestor are made of brass, which is resistant to wear, heat, fire, and corrosion. The dasher plate measures 5.25 inches in diameter. This product is FM Approved as a safety can used for handling flammable liquids in quantities of five gallons or less. It complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard 1910.106 for the safe storage and handling of flammable liquids.
