I absolutely love the Eagle 5 Gallon Red Safety Gas Can! I’ve used plenty of plastic gas cans in the past, but none of them compare to this one. The build quality is top-notch – it feels solid and durable, and it’s much more stable than the plastic containers I’ve had before. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t flip over in the back of my truck, even when I’m driving on rough roads, which is a huge bonus. The spout that comes with it is fantastic – it’s easy to use, and the design makes pouring a breeze with no spills or mess. Overall, this gas can is a game-changer. It’s worth every penny for anyone who needs a reliable, high-quality fuel container. Highly recommend it!

This Eagle 5-gallon safety gas can is solidly built and does exactly what it's supposed to. The heavy duty steel construction feels durable, and the flame arrester adds extra safety. The pour spout works smoothly without spills, and the lid seals tightly to prevent leaks. Definitely a great choice for safe fuel storage. Highly recommend!

Guys this is the gas can to have. So tired of spilling gas on ground, my hand and all over lawn mower with other "green" spouts that suck. Thos is simple old fashioned like my grandpa had for yeas simply pull lever with hand on nandle and cap opens the built in funnel in lawnmower tank and pour gas. You can see in funnel how full and you fill with no spills. I would give 50 stars for quality and ease of use. No one else is getting this from me, guys make the investment I guarantee you will be upset you waited so long to buy this. This design has been around for 80 years because it works well.

This will be the last gas can you’ll need to buy. Solid construction. Easy to pour. Lid will vent under high pressure. Funnel can fill small engines and your vehicle.Makes me feel better knowing my gas is stored as safely as possible. Just ordered a second one of these.

If you need to transport or store gasoline, this can is about as good as it gets and is worth every penny if you don’t want your vehicle to smell like gas fumes! I have this same tank from over twenty five years ago and I needed a second. They are identical except for their age. It’s a bit quirky to use sometimes, especailly when it comes to filling it while holding the strong spring loaded handle open for the gas nozzle, but when it’s closed, it’s closed. Great can. Tough as nails. I’ve owned dozens of gas cans and this is the only keeper now. If you want the best, this is it. No hesitation.

Please don't but the plastic trash from the big box stores.I've had this for about a year. The spot I need a bit of manhandling to install and remove. But it does a great job of ensuring nothing spills. I was so sick of spilling fuel every time I used the 5 gallon plastic tanks. No matter how tight the cap was shut it would always leak. Now, whenever I had the plastic containers in the car - when I took them to the pump for refilling - the car would smell of gas for days. I just took this on a drive from VA to MI and back. No one could tell I had this in the car. This is a quality product. If still be wary of throwing it around. So I keep it in a clean rubber tray on the floor. I would not store it directly in the concrete floor as they're could be small stones that could puncture it. I'm not saying they would - I just don't want to risk it.

Excelente producto muy practico para viajes largos en donde no se conoce la carretera y se ignoran los lugares para repostar gasolina, no presentó indicios de fuga, incluso ni siquiera se persibe olor al combustible.

I bought this jug to hold my motorcycle fuel which is a mix of vp race gas and pump fuel and amsoil. This should keep the race fuel and gas fresh all summer. Last fuel in a plastic jug went stale. This is well made and the funnel is nice and easy to remove.

Very good can. Metal is almost always preferable to a plastic can. It keeps out the light and keeps the gas better. You also avoid the most useless of all things - the "environmentally safe" nozzles. Anyone who has used those things finds they are difficult to use, sometimes even with two hands, and you often spill more gas than with a simple nozzle and cap.Two things to keep in mind on this can.1. It is 5 gallons so it's fairly large. This means, when full, it can be heavy for a smaller person.2. It also can be hard to empty into a car since you can't turn it upside down at enough of an angle to empty the entire can. Pouring into a mower, snow blower, etc. is not a problem as you can angle it better. For cars, I found it easiest to remove the funnel and put the funnel in the car, then pour right from the can into the funnel, so you can lift he can higher and empty the can.The yellow funnel can be a minor annoyance when refilling since you have to take it off to open the can and put a gas nozzle in, OR modify the funnel by drilling a hole on the top side to allow a gas nozzle to fit through it. I just end up removing it and putting it back on each time.A competitor, Justrite, makes a can (Justrite 7250130 ) that comes with a metal nozzle and separate opening to add gas on it, but it ups your cost by more than $20! This is already a $35 can. Eagle also makes one, and it's even higher priced. Unless you really cannot live with the plastic funnel, this can is fine.I wish it was easier to add gas, but it's a minor annoyance and not a show-stopper.
