good quality, a little hard to depress, but definitely doesn't slip, accommodates 1/4' elastic very well. 1/2" is a little tight, but works too.

These work great. Using on paracord for masks.

Needed for a project; worked perfectly. Old elastic worn, so replaced with cord and cord stopper.

This was a perfect little cord stop for the drawstring on a cowboy hat that we got for our grandchild. Thank you!

Last spring I bought a winter coat on clearance that has a cord on the inside to cinch the waist, but no stopper to adjust the length of the cord. Enter these cord stops. They do the job, my only complaint is that a pack of two is as expensive or more than buying a bunch in bulk.

These cord stops work perfectly for the waist cinch on my skorts. I use two -- one for each cord end. The holes are a bit small, so I needed to use a needle to help feed and pull the waist ribbon through the device. The cord stops are a bit bulky for a waistline, but they are not noticeable and don't make me look big, so I'm happy. They work great!

I was pleased to find that these cord stops had much stronger springs than I expected, so they provide a very snug and solid stop on cords. The button is a little loose in the cartridge, but this doesn't seem to cause any problems as the stops continue to perform great.

bought these to make cord stops on the bottom of a jacket, and on the edge of the hood. i got this very inexpensive packable down jacket, but because i was going hiking in a potentially windy place, i wanted to make cord stops, and not splurge a couple hundred on a jacket that already had them. these looked very similar to the cord stops on a lighter jacket that i have (which has been made with cord stops). i used instructions from ehow.com. the end result was satisfactory, and cheaper than buying another coat.
