I bought 2 1/2 x 2one worked great and one just shattered in 20 seconds in simple1/2 plate steelI cant find any contact info on Amazon., I called Drill America number on web site and they said they would not even talk to me since I purchased on amazon. Product seems ok - the one that worked but zero support for Amazon purchasers

This worked well to drill through a bus frame to install a trailer hitch. drilled 8 holes in teh frame and does not even seem to have dulled at all

The bit it’s self looks alright but beware it doesn’t come with the pilot centring point. Which is why I ordered this one.

I made nine holes in 1 1/2" thick steel plate with no problem. Use plenty of cutting oil and not a lot of pressure. Only 4 stars because no guide pin, should be included or at least available for separate purchase. ( I used a 1/4" drill bit, works but not as precise)
