I am very pleased with this radio. I use it in my home office. It is relatively small. It has great sound. It was easy to set up. It keeps time accurately. It was easy to tune to my local station. What more could I want?

This is a nice, lightweight radio that can be run on batteries so it is very portable. It also can be used with household current. It receives very well where I live. The sound quality is above average and the digital station and clock display are great. I have already purchased a second one as a gift for my sister who was very impressed by it!

I bought this radio specifically for the power plug option. The plug does not work. The radio works with batteries, but not the plug. Not sure if it’s the radio malfunction or the plug adapter.

Has battery option. The sound is surprisingly clear. Small size. Simple high quality digital functions. It's looks good. This "little black box," however, is not used to evaluate why there are near-misses in mid flight or why doors fly off planes. It isn't that kind of black box. Is that enough for a review, Amazon? No? The radio is BLACK.

This is a simple, easy to use, and clear sounding radio. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be. I believe it could fit inside a cigar box. It has only one speaker so no stereo sound, but it is a very clear speaker. The sound quality is quite good, with acceptable volume. The reception is great. It will pick up all the expected stations in my area. Comes with an AC adapter and will also run on 4 AA batteries, not included. There is a jack for headphones. About the only thing I would consider a negative is that there are no presets so you have to use the dial.

This radio is capable of receiving solid FM broadcasts with a telescoping antenna. I have not tried the AM or Short Wave modes, but the reception is solid for FM radio signal reception. The radio is physically sturdy and appears rather durable . Excellent sound quality for the size of the device. It's not stereo quality and it won't be without stereo quality speakers, but it does have a headphone port and if one has high-quality earbuds or headphones such could likely be replicated. I have only used the AC power source, but it is shipped with batteries included. The radio is compact and can be taken practically anywhere. Most impressive is the quality of the digital tuner capable of picking up exact radio signals. For a radio that is meant to look retro it has incredible precision. Overall, this is a solid portable radio. It won't replace the sound quality of a high-end speaker system, but in terms of being able to receive a signal and relay it with its sound system, that it can do and that it can do well.
