This plate allows specific Holosun optics to fit on a shield RMSc footprint. Since these Holosun optics do not have the rear recoil lugs, they normally would not fit. This plate simply deletes the rear recoil lugs so that the optic can be mounted and only utilize the front 2 recoil lugs. The design is pretty cool because the rear recoil lugs sort of disappear in to the plate and you forget they are underneath the plate. The unit itself feels really sturdy, and really lightweight. Installation was simple and the plate just goes between your optic and the mount that you want to mount it on. It seemed to fit nicely under a couple of red dots I tried this on.The other way to look at this product is if you need a RMS/RMSc optic to be ~0.07 inches higher, this can act as a sort of shim plate to raise the optic up.Unfortunately, I could not get this plate to function correctly. None of the screws that I have in my inventory were long enough to fit the length required for this. The included screws were not labeled (407k/507k - what screw? M3? M4? What is the length? I don't have a pair of calipers!) which was frustrating when trying to use this on other red dot optics. I thought for sure that this DPP plate would have come with longer screws to help make mounting an optic successful. I tried and gave up. I will try to buy some longer M4 screws as I believe those are the screws I need for this.Researching prices for optics plates, this does seem like a great value. Other plates are easily twice as much. If this included longer screws to accommodate more optics, it would be a winner.

Perfect fit. Honestly this brand is great I have many of their other mounting plates and they’re all made well. Great design and very thin which is a huge plus for me. Easy to install.

I've been expanding my gun collection lately, and adding some optics to my pistols. Specifically I recently purchased both the Holosun EPS and EPS Carry optics, both of which require adapter plates for certain pistols. I used my M&P Shield Plus for this item. Both the EPS and EPS Carry come with an included adapter plate. I couldn't tell a difference between this DPP adapter and the one that came with the EPS Carry. The thickness is just about identical. On the Shield Plus both of the plates work just fine for fitting the EPS Carry, however both plates raise the optic up enough that you bottom out on the vertical adjustment when zeroing. It does just BARELY get to zero, but truly barely. I'm considering just having my slide milled to fit the EPS Carry natively.Where this adapter would be really handy is with the full size EPS. The adapter plate that came with that is much thicker, and the DPP plate is far thinner. This plate would be great for the full size EPS. I don't know what plates come with the 407/507 series Holosun optics, but if they come with a thicker plate then this one would be a big improvement.I don't have another carry size pistol to test this plate with, and my full size pistols don't need an adapter plate. I can say that this one is well made, and if you need an adapter plate for an optic, this one is a good option!

This RMSC plate fits great on my shield plus, as well as my wife's equalizer (although there is a 2mm gap at the back of the plate where the optic cut is slightly longer than on the shield plus). It was simple to install & I tested it out with a Viridian RX15 green dot sight without issue. I am not an expert, so I cannot speak to the type of material used in the construction of the product, but it functions as advertised & is a great solution for a fair price.

It fits? That's the most important bit, I guess. It comes in a nice little plastic case with basic instructions, wrench, screws for the K series, as well as a set for EPS. The plate looks and feels similar to others that cost twice as much. Will it last? Only time will tell, but nothing screams cheap or fragile to me, so I'm optimistic.

I have always liked DPP Titanium plates and their quality has always left me impressed. This plate is no different, the quality and finish are perfect. However, the factory Holosun plate is better in my opinion. My SCS Carry came with a plate, but I figured I would try the DPP since they are usually lighter and thinner. This was actually not the case in this situation. Weight wise, they were they same, at least what I could measure as the lowest my scale can measure is .01 oz which they both came in at. Thickness wise, the DPP plate is almost 25% thicker! Granted, that is still a small amount on this size, but lower is better for pistol optics, and the factory plate is definitely lower. Also, the factory plate is more secure. There are two more lugs on the factory plate. I don't know if that is specific to the SCS, but 4 lugs beats 2. The one area where the DPP plate was more compact was the width. It is thinner, but not compelling enough to switch to it. In the end, I am sticking to the Holosun plate. Again, mine came with the optic, and I know not every sight does, so I am still giving it 4 stars for the usual DPP quality, packaging, and all the extra screws you get. If your optic didn't come with a plate, then you will not be disappointed with this one. But if it did, there is no compelling reason to "upgrade" to this one. Still love DPP, I got the plate through Vine, so I am happy to have it on hand for future use, and will gladly use it when that time comes.
