The distributor on my S10 is still going strong but the plastic tabs broke. I was about to buy a whole new one until I saw this. It fits perfectly!The screws are not the best. In my package, one was very snug and the other slipped right through the bracket. There are several days of resolving this, but my solution was to slowly turn the snug screw to make sure I didn’t strip it, and I used a U-Clip on the other screw (pressed up against the bottom of the bracket). Very happy with the results!

Ran self tap screws in first, as reviews said to do,put on dist. from screw tightened, back screw stripped, tapped out to 6/32.front good,back,metal fell apart. Put 6/32 under bracket and brazed on,now work great, fixed the problem, just another headake did not need, I needed a quick fix at the time, suggest to go and buy as a new dist. I pretty well have that in this bracket that should onlt be about 20 bucks, money should be returned. I was eventually buy the dist. Bracket should be thicker at holes,and no self tappers, should be tapped for bolts.

My distributor was damaged, the cap mounting lugs had broken off and the cap was being held on by zip ties. I found this item, ordered and installed. This device was easy to install and worked awesome, now my distributor cap is nice and secure, no more starting problems during rainy conditions.....

And some of the others have stated, the holes don't want to line up. That could be because of the screw size in any plastic leftover from the old hole. It took an hour and a half to get it on and a few people had said to run the screws in beforehand to make sure they go in correctly and that's exactly what I did but when I went to tighten up the screw on the back side it just kept turning. It's already stripped. It's holding it for now so I'm not taking it out. I did not waste that much time and energy just to have something is garbage as this. I'm over 60 years old and laying over top of the engine and trying to get this thing on and it's 40° outside. It's just amazing how pathetic that is to have the screw strip the very first time going in. Maybe someone else will have better luck and if you're like me and you don't have an extra vehicle then that's all you can do. I'm just hoping when I started up that it will run correctly.

One of the screws was missing. Could have went to hardware store and bought one but for price should have included all parts.Part was out of package in the envelope it was shipped in.Maybe was lost in shipment or packaged that way but the shipping bag wasn't damaged.Part is made well but you have to remove distributor to install.For the price and problem may as well buy a new distributor to replace the plastic one which I did.Am returning this bracket.

Difficult to install on a vortec big block. This kit comes with 2 screws, one long and one short. The short screw is worthless! I had to find another long screw to make it work. A bit of advice is to "pre-tap" the screw holes before attempting to install on the vehicle. Run the screws all the way through the screw holes several times before installing, this will greatly help while leaning over the engine and trying to hold everything together. It's a good fix once it is installed!

Works nice , wish it came with machine screws, but it did the job and my new cap is nice and tight. Feel confident on a good road trip now
