Replaced the oil cooler on my 2004 E350 6.0 Powerstroke. All the gaskets seemed to work fine. Direct drop in replacement. My temperature deltas were 25⁰F difference. Now they are right where they should be. No complaints at all from me on this replacement.

so far is working good no problems dont used the gaskets from the kit buy oem from ford the ones from the kit leak fast and is a lot of work to do it twice so buy from dealer. the cooler loos small channels compare from the oem from ford but dorman well is half price is working good i dont tow anything is just regular truck but the temperature is low is doing the job no leaks i just put 10 miles on it no issues really soon im gonna go for road trip of 400 miles one way if i have any issues i will make other review but so far is working fine no leaks low temps the quality looks good cheap part i will recommended for now

Dorman said they updated their seals from the biodegradable ones as seen on YouTube. Install was good, and my deltas went from 17 to 3. I put a Mishimoto filter kit on with it and hopefully this solves the problem for a LLOOONNNGGG time.

I had this installed by Oregon Fuel Injection along with a Dorman EGR cooler and my truck is running top notch! This part is the main cause for the EGR cooler failing, so I also ordered a coolant filtration kit to keep this new oil cooler from collecting sediment, over heating and getting plugged up.

Good price. there were some issues with the seals in this kit on earlier versions but I think they have been fixed. I have installed 3 of these and have had no complaints. If you were to buy this cooler and hedge your bet by buying ford seals to install on it you would still be cheaper than buying the ford part. But like I said, I have had no problems.

1 star is not even deserved. I am an ase master technician with l1 certification as well. I also have extensive factory training with an import manufacture. I bought this oil cooler roughly 2 1/2 years ago to use on my own vehicle. Due to time and funds I used this kit instead of an oem part. I now have put roughly 22000 miles on my vehicle and never had an issue with the cooler, itself. With that being said I recently developed a driveability issue and was cleaning the carbon deposits from my turbo and inspecting the engine for the cause of the problem. While I had the turbo out I noticed an oil leak from the oil cooler housing. Being proactive I went to replace the necessary gaskets. What I found was the gaskets included in this kit completely disintegrated and crumbled leaving gasket material inside lying on the screen for the hpop. I replaced the screen and replaced necessary gaskets. Went for a test drive after reassembly and my truck will not build high pressure oil pressure as it should (1800 psi @ wot about half what it should). The gasket failure has caused damage to my hpop. I do not recommend any one use the gaskets included in this kit. If you do an internet search you will find this is not the first case, most likely not the last. Also Ford has released an information tsb to address this concern to their technicians. Do not buy or use this product. You will be spending more money later, on parts that otherwise would not need to be addressed.

Nice quality part. It came with all nessisary o rings and the oil screen as well. Roughly an 8 hour install with typical hand tools. Moderate mechanical ability needed and some patience. Overall glad I replaced it before there was an issue or break down.
