Super happy with this item… brand new in a box direct fit. Higher at price but with what people charge for used i figured add more and get it delivered. I would recommend if you’re looking. Fast delivery as well

Works fine but doesn't use the same screws as the original oem part. After a couple of trips to the hardware store got the correct screws and installed with a socket wrench

It was the right part, but it worked once after being installed by my mechanic. Now I still can't open my trunk and I am out 200$.

Perfect fit and function for my 95 Town Car. Simply remove the three 11mm screws and unplug the sensor. No adjustments needed.

Good products should go in easy, three bolts and a plug for power, done just getting to the assembly is half the fun.

Thought this was going to require a costly repair but anyone can remove a non-working motor and replace it with this. Three bolts (use an 11mm socket wrench) to remove (save the bolts) the old and replace the new. One electrical clip. Works perfectly!

Nice product. I returned the first one as it sounded like a machine gun going off when activated. However, the new one is really great. Very quiet. However, on September 2, 2017, (received the new one on June 23, 2017) I opened the trunk via the remote control, and found that the trunk release motor would not stop running. So I quickly disconnected it, and had to bungee cord the trunk lid closed. My replacement (under warranty) is too arrive in a couple of days, according to my amazon customer service representative, Corey. This is really frustrating as the trunk lid pull-down motor is the only thing that will release the trunk lid, or keep it closed. I hope it comes quickly. I need it.

Device works fine in my old Lincoln. A bit more expensive than I'd like, but it's a perfect fit replacement. The removal of the old one, and the installation of this new one, was quick and easy.

One of those items that you wish you didn't need but had to have. When the Trunk Lid Pull Down Motor in my 97 Lincoln Town Car burned out I learned that you could not close the trunk lid and there was no way short of tying down the trunk to by pass the latching mechinisim. This product save me a lot of money over having a dealer install one.I chose overnight shipping that cost $20 extra but I ordered it at 6PM in the evening and at 10:20 AM the next morning the part arrived. 3 bolts and an electric pig tail connection was all it took to install. I had the old one off and the new one on in under 20 minutes and it worked like new. I am sure that this would have been over a $400 fix at a dealership and they would have probably had to order the part also
