Great adapter for displays that accept DVI wotj laptops with display ports. Works very well as expected and is very easy to install.

Grabbed my old Apple Cinema Display out of storage and remembered this thing runs on DVI, wanted to use my work laptop docking station with it but needed a DVI to DP adapter. Figure I'd try this out than to stack a few adapters to make an HDMI connection; So far so good! No issues with flickering, weird resolutions, or any desegregation on the image quality with this hooked into a WDTB19 Dell dock and a Windows system; Just worked right away and I didn't need to modify any settings.Will see how this fairs in a long term use case, but I think it should be fine, the cord length of the adapter is what makes it since adapters I've used in the past that were more stout and short seemed to have issues down the line due to stress on the cable.

When I realized my new graphics card only have displayports for the monitors, I was worried I'd have to buy a new second monitor to replace my old one. However, this little device easily made my old monitor compatible with this video card and for a fraction of the cost of a new monitor. While it is limited in refresh rate, it gets the job done and my primary monitor can retain its higher refresh rate for gaming. Highly recommend this cable if you're looking for a cheap answer to a compatibility problem.

I updated my graphics card recently (GeForce RTX 2070 Super if you're curious) and found out quickly that I could only connect my HDMI monitor, and not my older DVI-D monitor. The new card doesn't come with DVI inputs, just a single HDMI, 3 DisplayPort and a USB-C. Enter this little guy. Initially, I had a serious issue with the screen flickering off and on (mostly off) until I changed the refresh rate to match the HDMI monitor, and voila! Works like a champ. Still get the very occasional, brief flicker (which is why I docked a star), but this saved me the expense of purchasing a new monitor (which I had just convinced my wife I needed). Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, after all... Seriously, great value for the money. Just make sure if you are running multiple monitors to set the refresh rate to be the same for both.
