Works great. Once I figured out how to work it, it works perfectly. Love it!

Gives visual and audio indicators when you hit your mark. If I could change anything might be the length. If it were a couple inches longer higher torques could easily be reached. But a great unit able to do inch lbs and foot lbs and the NM lbs all in one. Replaces two of my torque wrenches.

This digital torque wrench is simply amazing. I seriously wish that I had gotten this sooner. For a while, I’ve been using a cheaper click type torque wrench. But I have not calibrated that in a long time. I love how easy this torque wrench was to use. It was very nice that I could set the torque in Newton meters and then switch the unit over to foot pounds to see what that translates to. No more needing a converter to set torque values. Also a huge bonus having three indicators when you are at torque spec. You have lights that change color you have an audible beep and you have a vibration. This is a seriously awesome tool that will have a great home in my toolbox for a while.

I don't understand the instructions .. .. instructions are poorly written .. it doesn't even tell you where the batteries go .. I got so frustrated that I started taking the screws off and prying at it thinking the battery compartment was in the back .. turns out battery compartment is in the handle .. then I got frustrated reading the stupid instructions after a whole hour I gave up figuring it out The presets .. returning it

My only complaint is with respect to the battery installation... The instructions I received had ZERO reference to battery installation. I figured it out, through trial and error, though, and I have to say that the reason it was not easier is the molding and construction. The batteries actually insert into the end of the unit ( like classic flashlights), with the end cap screwing into place. The reason it was so difficult to find this is actually a mark in favor of the manufacturer. The molding was so precise on this that I didn't even see a "seam" where the end cap screwed on. This speaks to precision manufacturing. Everything about this tool seems tight, solid, and hefty. This is definitely a quality item, and came with a certification of calibration (to include inspector identified). Even the case provided was a cut above others I've tested. The interface is quite intuitive, with more available unit measure scales than I've seen on most others (ft-lbs, N-m, etc.). I like the audible notification, when limits are reached. This is especially beneficial when awkward positioning is required, where visual read is not as easy. Additionally, there is a "warning" indicator that alerts the user to the fact that they are approaching their set limit.Given the nature of accuracy and sensitivity, I would state that this is more for design and evaluation purposes, than for shop mechanics. In orther words, this is likely to be more useful to a design engineer than a mechanic. Still, there are mechanics that will also be inclined toward greater accuracy. The designer/engineer will likely be please with the readout, as it it clear, relatively bright, and crisp. Operation is smooth and consistent. I was able to achieve desired torque in the same (marked) spot/angle, multiple times. The longer the shaft, the greater the available torque (think "cheater bar"), so 16-1/2" is ample length to apply the max rated torque (135 N-m).Additional pros:Units are serialized, and printed on QA cert. I recommend hanging on to this cert.Higher consideration for end user than most manufacturers.High-strength alloy (chromium finish, vanadium alloy).Raised buttons on physical interface. Over time, user's muscle memory will become "second nature."Cons:Documentation - One place where a manufacture should LEAST skimp with a product is in documentation (especially one of this precision). This is not a "minimalistic" tool, but it comes with minimalistic instructions and direction. Poor documentation is a sticking point, with me.Exposed circuitry - I'm uploading an image of an opening in the casing of the electronics. It resides above the readout, in the upper left of the enclosure. It's about the size of what might have been a USB-C (maybe micro) charging point, at one point in the design. Through this hole, I can see what appears to be the PCB for the electronics. Since the batteries are inserted at the end, and this is not a rechargeable unit, the presence of this hole can be dangerous in that water/moisture can easily enter and contact the electronics. It is possible that this is a "vent" to prevent said electronics from overheating, but I suspect otherwise. Given the size and shape, I suspect otherwise.Given the poor documentation, and potential risk to electronics via liquid/moisture, the best I can do is a four star rating.

The Hairich digital torque wrench is easier to use and more capable than the click torque wrenches I own. I really like that the digital display shows the applied torque in real time and it provides visual and audible cues as you reach 80% and 90% of the target torque. The red blinking lights and loud continuous beeps make it obvious the target has been hit even if you are in an awkward position and cannot read the display. Switching units with the press of a button is also great, no need to perform unit conversion calculations. The 10 preset values are convenient, I mostly use the wrench for the same operations, so having them stored saves time.Regarding mechanical performance, the ratchet turns smoothly and with 72 teeth it operates with minimal arc length in tight spots. It switches ratchet direction smoothly as well. The handle includes a rubberized grip and is long enough to apply the max. torque without difficulty. The included blow molded case has metal clasps to securely hold.Nothing is perfect and this wrench has a few minor issues. The square display has to be oriented correctly or the case will not close. The operation instructions are adequate, but not very clearly written (translated), so there is some trial and error. Also, when setting the torque, it ramps up the speed at which the values increase/decrease quickly. It is hard to stop it at exactly the right value and single presses change the value by very small increments. None of these drawbacks are big and this is now my go-to torque wrench.
