These plugs have a 14mm aka 9/16" hex. the 5/8" spark plug socket I used to remove the original denso plugsno workie, you will need a deep 14mm socket to install these. othetwise no issue. Car runs well, power restoredmy 2012 civic with 45K miles suprised me with wheel spin the first right turn I made, it haden't done that in a very long time.amazon for the first time ever did horrible job of packaging these, I'm pretty sure they were packaged for shipment by schleprock, as Fred and Barney must have had the day off!packaging consisted of a piece of card board folded and creased to make a mailer, there was no bubble packor even folded paper to cushion the items, and all four of the plugs had been removed from the OEM boxesyou could tell by looking at the corners of the flaps, they were all were torn. merchandise looks new, but it definately showed signs of being returned or handled previously.two of the plugs were loose, and out of there OEM packing thread protectors were intact but packaging left lots to be desired NOT HAPPY

Denso brand makes great spark plugs and this plug is of high quality. My issue is I bought 6 for my BMW 335i N55, and it said it fits the car. Since this plug type is not one you would normally gap (not recommended by manufacturer), it should only be used on cars with this plugs factory gap spec. I assumed it would be gapped for .8 mm as required for the N55 engine and installed them never having issues with DENSO plugs before. I worked great..... then I tried WOT and the engine misfired like crazy causing multiple 300 codes for cylinder misfires. This plug has a 1.1 mm factory gap causing the issue. This should not be listed as fitting a BMW engine. I did gap the plugs to .8 mm because I needed the car and a short test drive revealed no problems with sharp response from the engine. I also checked an autoparts site and confirmed the item doesn't "fit" any BMW. For this price, by a factory precise pre gapped plug that works! Hopefully Amazon or the seller will correct the posting to exclude BMW fitment. 1 Star for wasting my time when all modern Bimmers use factory gap plugs for consistency and premium NKG / BOSCH / DENSO for quality.

Used these on my 2009 FX35 and just placed another order of these for my girlfriend's 2008 G35 sedan. They were the same as the ones I pulled out, so definitely OEM and that's what I prefer. Both our cars use the same exact parts and the engine is practically the same! I used a two-part youtube video called "Change spark plugs for 2008 Infiniti G35x - Best sparkplug DIY evar!! (1 of 2)" to perform the 105,000 mile required spark plug service on my FX35 and now I will perform the same job on my girlfriend's G35 this weekend, except this time it won't take me as long because now I know what I'm doing.

Note that these shipped as 4 spark plugs per box/package. I thought I was paying for one single spark plug so I ordered 6 for my V6 car and I got 24 spark plugs instead of 6 - which is why I gave this 4 starts for poor detail (if I missed it please let me know so I can update my rating). This is 4 spark plugs per purchase (they come in a small box, 4 spark plugs in each box). You need 1 spark plug per cylinder in your car, if you have a 4cylinder then you only need 4 spark plugs, if you have a V6 then you need 6 spark plugs. These are iridium spark plugs so note that they last much longer than your normal spark plugs, these should only need to be replaced around 100k-150k depending on your driving style vs driving conditions.
