I got this to deburr my 3D prints, and if I was right-handed, it would work amazing but as I am a left-hander, I had to buy some different blades now that they have come in, I love this thing, the blades click into the handle and are very secure, and it deburrs my prints with ease, I also had my wife use it with the original right-handed blades, and she said it is very handy and easy to use. Great tool, just make sure if you are left-handed, you order different blades.

This is a high-quality tool. I like that the blades are replaceable, and that this kit comes with blades. I use deburring tools like I use razors - replace the blades weekly until I run out, then the last one lasts for 6-months. This kit has enough blades to keep me with sharpness for a while.The shank of the tool is all aluminum, compared to the plastic of some other, big-name brands, which is a nice step up. The blade securing mechanism is also sure, no worries about the blade popping out during use.

I've never used a tool like this before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I've cut a decent amount of pipes using a pipe cutter, and for what I was doing, removing the burrs weren't that big of a deal. Whenever I did try to use the deburring tool that was attached to the pipe cutter, which was really just some triangular piece of metal, it just kind of smashed the burr so that it wouldn't be sharp, but turned it into this giant crumbled mess.This tool CUTS the burr off! It shaves it off as you run it along the inside of the pipe. I was kind of surprised it was able to cut the burrs the way it did, but on a copper pipe, it slowly but surely shaved it off effortlessly, leaving thin copper spirals behind. The cutting blade is curved, so I guess you can kind of control how much of the burr you want to cut off, and if you want to put a chamfer on it. I was able to get the inside of a 3/4" copper pipe completely burr free.The next pipe I tried was a piece of aluminum tubing from a bicycle seat-tube. This one had the burr crushed by that crude deburr tool on my pipe cutter, and this tool was not able to handle that. I can understand that because instead of a fresh burr, it was just clumps of aluminum. I wasn't able to re-cut it to test on a fresh burr because the piece was too small, but I don't think it would have had trouble with it because of the next piece I tried: 1" galvanized pipe (EMT).At first, it struggled with the EMT, and I thought maybe the metal was too hard for it, but when I put some muscle into it, it started to cut the burr just fine. It wasn't as smooth or easy as cutting through the burrs on the copper pipe, but it was able to do it. I believe this pipe is also harder than the aluminum seat post, which is what makes me think it won't have a problem with the aluminum pipe.Quality-wise, the handle is just a chunk of metal. No visible defects. Nicely made. The quick release collar works fine for inserting, releasing, and locking the blades. It comes with a small plastic box to hold the spare blades. Totally worth the $12 it's selling for!
