My husband bought this kit for a job that he was working on got it fixed and now it is a major tool that he uses more than once. So, for this product I will give it a 5, star review.

Nice quality electrical connector disconnect tool set. There are so many different variations in here it's mind-boggling. With so many different tools, I'm confident I will be able to de-pin any and all wire connectors that I come across. Now all I have to do is remember I have the kit instead of using a pick set lol.

This set has a great number of removal tool shapes and designs, accommodating nearly any type of pin removal you might need. The included quick reference chart and clear printed letter on each tool make it easy to find the tool you need for each job. The molded handles are shaped to fit in the hand well and feel comfortable and easy to hold/control during use.

I had an issue with a rusted headlamp connector on my truck that fell apart and left remnants in the harness. I didnt want to go and spend money having it fixed at a shop and got this inexpensive remover kit. Worked well and now everything is fixed.

I've been rewiring a golf cart, and at various points I had to depin some connectors to reroute wires. This kit comes with 26 different tools to remove pins from various connectors, but it's really up to you through trial and error to figure out the right tool for which connector. Your best bet is to check Youtube before you start on any small connectors so you know where the fins are that lock the pins in place. Some connectors it's obvious, others not so much. Each tool itself has a 3.25" handle which is a bit small for my hands, but manageable. Because some of the pins they remove are small, some of the tips are fairly thin and will bend with too much pressure (ask me how I know). Tools V/W/X/Y are spring loaded to remove pins which have fins on multiple sides (such as round 4 pin molex connectors you'd see with old hard drives). The case itself is a welcomed addition and keeps the tips visible and well organized. I'd say for $20 it's a good value, anything more than that you better be depinning a lot of various connectors. The kit is a clone sold by various names on Amazon, image search it to find whichever one is the cheapest if you need multiple depinning tools.Through some trial and error here's some of the connectors I've depinned and which tools I used:Automotive Connectors:9005 headlight connector: C or J9006 headlight connector: C or JComputer Connectors:4 pin molex male & female (some PC fans, old hard drive power connector): X3 pin female PC fan: AFemale atx power supply connectors (the tool tip bent trying to get a male pin out): KFemale motherboard headers: AMisc Electrical:JST SM (3 pin connectors common with LED strips): A

It's so great to have a large kit like this with so many different tips. I only occasionally need to use the kit for its intended purpose but I am often looking for a tool, that I wasn't aware existed, to get into a small space. This set offers me a myriad of options. The tools are constructed well with large handles and they are all numbered and stored in a large hard-plastic storage box.My only complaint is that no where does the manufacturer tell you what connectors each tool was designed for or how to use them with each connector. So it's going to be hit or miss when deciding on which tool is the right one for the job.

The terminal removal kit arrived in a discrete coardboard box without any indication of what it was. Upon opening, the depinning tool was wrapped in shrink wrap plastic. The case seems pretty sturdy for holding all of the picks. When opening the box, there is a sheet of paper that has the numbers of the tools with a diagram of what's in the box....basically, a picture of what's inside of the box.The picks are not heavy duty and a bit fragile, but maybe that's what's just needed. I got this because there has been a few times where I wanted to de-pin a connector but did not have the tool to do it. While I haven't tried it, I think this will do the trick but just need to use caution. My only complaint is that there is not a diagram of connectors with what tool/pick to use for the connector. On the other hand, I couldn't find any diagrams online that list all the picks and what connector you should use. I have 26 different picks and no clue which pick to use, even though the picks are numbered. This seems to be a huge drawback of the product, which is why I gave it 3 stars. Looking at comparable products online though, it seems like none of them offer this.
